After his mom was discharged from the hospital she left because she felt like he didn't want to see her when he woke up and thought she was doing him a favour
Keith, Karen and Haley were regular visitors, even his own dad hadn't came to see him but right now Brooke was the one in the room with him
"Hey Jay, it's Brooke" she put her hand on his "it's been way to long you need to wake up" she chuckled "I need you, I miss hearing your corny jocks"
Silent filled the room as Jayson lays on the hospital
"Lucas broke up with me" her eyes started to fill up with tears "I thought he was the one for me" her voice shaken "please just wake up, I need you to tell me that everything is going to be okay, that I don't need him and give me one of your hugs like you always do"
Even tho he couldn't talk or move, he could hear her, he wanted to tell her all of that but couldn't
"Hey Brooke" A man's voice could be heard "could you give me a sec?" He softly asked
"Uh yeah, of course" she replied getting up, her footsteps could be heard leaving
"Thank you"
"No problem" her voice got farther so did her footsteps
"Hey son" the man walked over to the bed "your mom told me everything and I don't blame you, I blame myself, mostly because I should of been watching the road better and also because there's so many things you don't know and it breaks my heart everyday to not be able to tell you" he sighed "come on kid wake up"
After a couple minutes of silence footsteps were bearded leaving once again

It's been a couple hours since Brooke and the man came to visit and the only person there was Karen, after Lucas was discharged she's been staying at the hospital to keep an eye on Jayson while also taking care of Lucas
Jayson's eyes slowly started opening but getting blinded by the hospital lights, after he finally fully opened his eyes he noticed Karen sitting on the seat beside his bed with her eyes closed
"K-Karen?" He mumbled, it wasn't loud but it was enough for her to turn around
"Jayson?" She stood up standing beside him and taking his hand in her's "hey" she smiled
"Hi" He sent it back to her
"How are you feeling?" She asked pushing his hair back from his forehead
"As if I got stabbed by a thousand needles" he chuckled
"You just woke up and you're already cracking jokes" she laughed "welcome back"
"Where's my mom?"
"Um, your mom had to go back for work" she announced "she told me to tell you she loves you and that she will call you"
"W-what?" He sat up getting hit with a sharping pain
"Slow down okay?" She slowly pushed him back down on the bed "you just woke up remember?"
"How could she do this to me?" Jayson clenched his jaw looking up at the older woman "I'm trying so hard to be the perfect son to bad parents, I can't do it anymore" he held his tears back as Karen involved him in a hug

Jayson had gotten discharged from the hospital and was walking towards Lucas's house, he hadn't told anyone mostly because his phone had gotten destroyed in the crash
He was stopped by Haley walking out the familiar door, Haley paused making sure it was actually him
"Hey Hales" he smiled as she started running towards him, she jumped in his arm as he caught her with the unbroken one
"Jayson" she exclaimed while he put her down "what are you doing here? When did you get out? Why didn't you call me?" She blasted out
"Haley" he chuckled "calm down"
"Sorry, I just wish you would of told me"
"My phone got destroyed in the crash" he explained making her nod "and also I wanted to surprise you, how's Lucas doing?"
"He's fine, his shoulder is broken and he has a concussion but a part from that he is okay"
"That's good" he gave her a small smile
She knew he felt guilty and probably still feel guilty if she told him it wasn't his fault
"Come on" she grabbed his hand dragging him to the house "he doesn't blame you Jayson, no one does"
"But I still feel guilty Hales" he sighed "I might be the reason he won't play basketball ever again"
"You're gonna see him and he'll tell you himself" The pair walked in the house walking to Lucas's room
To Jayson's surprise the guilt would disappear seeing what he saw walking in the bedroom, from anything he had imagined it certainly wasn't that
Lucas and Peyton were kissing right in front of him
"Peyton.." he whispered feelings his heart sink, Peyton and Lucas turned their heads
"Jayson" she jumped off the bed "I ca-I can explain"
"Explain what?" He clenched his jaw "that the reason you weren't visiting me was because you were messing around with my bestfriend?"
"Jayso-" Lucas tried cutting in
"Shut up Lucas, I thought you were my bestfriend, I trusted you, how could you do that to Brooke?" he shook his head "she loved you and you had to break her heart"
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen" she stepped closer to him "I love y-" he went to take his hand
"Get off of me" he pushed her hand away slightly pushing her back
"Hey" Haley stepped in front of him holding him, Jayson stared into her eyes looking for a single hint of surprise
"Did you know?" He stared down at Haley, she sighed staying quiet "you knew didn't you?"
"Jay-
"No, how could you not tell me" he shook his head "you know what, I don't want to ever see any of you again" he turned to Peyton "I hope you're happy Peyton" he walked out

Jayson never thought he'll find himself here, after learning that Dan Scott was the one to pull him out the car and bring him to the hospital he went over to the Scott's beach house
He sighed before knocking, the door slowly opened up revealing Dan Scott
"Jayson?" He opened the door wider
"Hi Mr.Scott"
"How are you feeling son?" The man gave him his famous smile
"Not the best but adjusting" he smiled back "I heard you brought me to the hospital and I just wanted to thank you"
"Your dad and I are like brothers, I'll do anything for him if that means saving his son" he smiled again "don't even worry about it"
"Well thank you again" he turned starting to walk away
