Eventually the trees started to grow back. The tiny trees scattered across the dirt as green grass peered through the dirt. I walked to a place I thought I'd never see again. As I approached the door, he came out. We both gasped.

"Yn..." He says. His eyes became wet and we fell into each others arms in a tight embrace.

"im so sorry..." He says through tears.

"I'm sorry. I've missed you so much." I say. He looks into my eyes. He now has a long mustache and his hair has gone gray. He still has those beautiful blue eyes.

I cupped his cheeks and gave him a big kiss. He returned the gesture.

The Lorax returned and we all caught up while watering the trees
