SALTY TEARS STREAMED DOWN ivy's pale cheeks while her jaw trembled. she couldn't believe that everything leading up to her moving in with the carpenters was caused by them. it was a nightmare she desperately wanted to wake up from.
ethan had killed anika, and he'd blatantly lied to ivy's face. he pretended that he was completely oblivious to the situation and that only added more fuel to ivory's anger. she wanted to kill him, right then and there, but she was weaponless.

sam stood on one side while tara and ivy stood behind her. tara swung her brick at ethan, missing as he stepped back. quinn had sam trapped as she pointed her knife towards the girl.
