His uncles voice darkened and frightened him more than usual. Vernon then took a knife and started to carve into his back, Harry was in too much pain to note what it was. The pain went on for what felt like hours. Vernon pulled the knife out of the gaping wound and drove the knife into Harry's right shoulder from the back. Vernon pulled the knife back out and drove it into his left hand.

"Maybe this will teach you a lesson. Get cleaned and do your chores. We'll be back by sundown, you know what happens when you don't complete your chores."

With that Vernon walked out of the door and locked him inside.

"Coming to you today from New Almond, at 11:30. I am your reporter, Markus Lionelle. Yesterday at 22:00 the police and hospital were called on scene where a doctor was mauled by the animal he was helping. Said doctor is currently in ICU struggling for his life. The doctor goes by, Dr. John Eelpout, according to his co-workers he was described as a nice, warm and helping soul. His assistant has told us he was working on a relatively new patient. Dr. Eelpout is a wildlife vet. He specializes in the healing of all wildlife. His newest patient was a young wolf, the being only appearing to be about the age of five. After further digging and talking to some of the wildlife experts around we were able to identify the wolf. The wolf is called as, said by wildlife hunters, is 'The scarred Devil'. It is said this wolf is responsible for the mauling of the police officers and nice family in Surrey mere months ago. Hunters have been saying a bounty went out on the animal and was the only wolf that they were allowed to shoot and kill. But after a few months of coming close to killing this beast and it escaping them every time, the police have allowed the poaching of wolves till the beats was killed. The hunters were willing to give a description of the wolf,' The mangy mutt has more than 40 scars on its body. The mutt is black with bits of white and gray spots on it. The mutt is skin and bone but incredibly nimble and fast on its feet. It is also incredibly smart and is able to take up to three bullets before slowing down. Though it hasn't been spotted in months.'. When asking another hunter he said that the animal was not spotted again after Seth McGinnis went after it for the last time to settle the score. No one has been able to contact young mister McGinnis to hear what actually happened and why the animal is now in the hands of a wildlife vetenary. The doctor was -------"

Seth couldn't believe what he was hearing, the blasted devil had attacked the scientist that was breaking him? If that mutt escaped, then he would have to leave and flee the land as the things pack would likely come looking for him and the others who hunted him and experimented on him.

He needed to get in contact with The Zareth people if he hoped to survive.
