"But right now, you got to dance" Ruby added laughing as he twirled Olivia and Lana at the same time

"Then this one's for Jamal"

"For Jamal!" They yelled looking up, as Olivia, Ruby and Lana kept dancing together

Ruby spun them around as he brought them back he looked between them as he saw something, more so someone

Ruby kept staring at him, even once making eye contact, the girls kept dancing.

As if it all happened in slow motion, Ruby saw Latrelle raise a gun.

He grabbed Olivia and Lana spinning them around so his back was now towards Latrelle, Lana felt everything stopped as she saw Latrelle.

It was to easy

To good too be true

She knew there was no way he was going to just disappear

"Cesar!!" Ruby yelled looking at him, as Cesar looked over noticing Latrelle he moved Monse out of the way going to grab Lana but it was too late he shot the gun once

Ruby got shot in the back it going through Olivia and then Lana, as they moved away from eachohter Latrelle didn't stop, he shot again but only at Lana this time.

Screams were heard along with people running away, Ruby slowly dropped to the floor, Aubelita noticed Olivia fall and rushed over to her

Lana felt burning in her stomach and chest, she reached down there wasn't one bullet wound but two, she choked a little on blood before she fell to the ground

"Ruby! Lana! Ruby! Lana! No! No!" Geny Martinez, their mom yelled noticing her two kids laying on the floor next to eachohter, face down, not noticing one was bleeding worse than the other

"Mijo! Estimada!" Their dad yelled running over Ruby as their mom rolled Lana over

She yelled crying seeing them bleeding from the chest, and stomach

"No! No!" she yelled crying grabbing onto Lana

"Estimada" their dad cried looking over at Lana she was barely breathing

"Lana, no, no, no, no" Cesar cried looking at her as Monse grabbed him from running over to her

"Call 911! Call 911!" She yelled crying, as their dad got up grabbing his phone

She moved in between her two kids holding their hands crying as she looked down at them

"Ruby! Lana! Please" She cried as Cesar got away from Monse going over and kneeling next to Lana as he pressed his hand on the wound to stop the bleeding she was surrounded in her own blood

"You guys are gonna be fine! You're gonna be just fine, Lana, Ruby, Okay, you're gonna be fine. Not my babies! not my babies!" She yelled

Olivia let out shallow breaths, she looked over seeing Cesar and Geny leaned over Ruby and Lana, she knew it was worse then she thought, there was practically a pool of blood around Lana, and some from her mouth 

"Lana! Ruby!" Olivia yelled reaching her hand out

"Mija, mija, stay still" Abuelita said, she couldn't stomach looking over at them

"Lana, Lana! Ruby!" she yelled once more noticing she was shot right inbetween her chest

No one noticed the phone going off, Olivia's parents were calling back, but no one ever answered the phone.

Lana let out a short breath, as she felt someone interlocking their hands with her, little to know it was Ruby's

"Lana, baby, please hold on" Cesar cried hearing the ambulances coming

"Ce-cesar. i-i love you" Lana let out taking a deep breath before she stopped

"Lana! Lana no!" Cesar yelled as their mom felt herself choke up from crying

"no, no, no" she kept muttering

Ruby gasped awake, he began to freak out looking around and feeling his chest and stomach, he slowly calmed down seeing he was in a hospital bed

He looked over to see his mom asleep on a little couch in the room, he looked to the other side seeing a clock 5:30am

He looked back over at his mom, she was still in the dress she wore to the Quince- wait the Quince, where's Lana and Olivia?

"Mom" he spoke, his voice scratch, and his throat hurt.

"Mijo?" She questioned waking up, and rushing over to him

"You're awake" she said feeling tears come to her eyes

"Mom, what-what happened?" he asked, as she froze for a second

"You dont remember?"

"Only bits, the last thing i remember was dancing with Liv and Lana" he said as she wiped the tear that fell away

"Baby, someone, uh, someone came and shot at the Quince, you, Lana and Liv got shot. Lana got the worst, they shot her twice" she said grabbing his hand, as he felt his heart stop

How could he forget?

"Where are they?" he asked looking her in the eye as she shook her head beginning to cry

"I'm sorry, Mijo-" but she was cut off by a nurse coming in

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but its time to take your meds and change your bandage" she said as Geny nodded going over and sitting on the couch she was just sleeping on
