It wasnt long until she had arrived. II alerted me in my room and I followed him out.

I sat down in one of the chairs, and II joined me planting himself beside me.

In front of us, sat Jade. Her beautiful hair and stunning features that covered her face combatting her piercing eyes as she stared with love and confusion in her gaze.

"Sugar, I assume your very confused in This point in time, but trust me, it will all make sense in the end" I huffed a sigh and empathy feel into her feelings as I searched them to think of how to continue. With the reassurance that she was ready to listen I continued

"I sent you to Eden, as Sleep directed me to, you have been granted access which means you have to follow the laws and live by the promise of Calcutta. I will explain what all that is in time but now my love I have more important things to inform you on " I took another breath and she nodded, understanding my words.

"Here, in Eden, we cannot talk, expect me, but not II, nor III, nor IV. We may communicate though telepathy and talk amongst each other but never to another being who isn't a Vessel. I am the only one allowed to because of my title and power. You will refer to us using our Vessel names, and pretend that you don't know me, or the others. The village sees you as a sign from God, So for that they will treat you as a queen and you must accept it, have you decline there will be consequences. Your many questions, will have answers but you must ask them another time, follow us"

I quickly cut her off from saying anything I rose from my chair, II following me and we headed out the Cabin door.

I checked to make sure she was following, then tapped Into her feelings, she felt confused, frustrated, but mostly comforted by mine and IIs presence

We walked across the gravely path to a cabin between IV and IIIs. I stopped and told her it was hers, then opened the door to let her inspect

Inside was a cosy, comfortable cabin with a desk, couch, fireplace, table, chairs, and an additional room that fitted a bed, wardrobe, and desk.

As she looked around I saw her face light up as she entered The bedroom, to see planted on her bed was a box, a small chest like box with intercut ruin-like designs forged into the sides and lid

II voiced her to open it, in a way both me and Jade could hear it, and she followed his words.

She inspected it, then opened it, one hand holding her mouth as her jaw dropped to the floor.

She stared at the inside of the box then towards II, he told her to 'use it wisely', then she slowly pulled out her gift.

It was a black and silver dagger, the detailed and fascinating pattern of a dragon calved on the side of the blade, and the Handel taking the form of a similar pattern of the dragon. There was a rich Jade that filled a space in the dragons eye on the dagger, she looked at both of use, complete awe staining her perfect face

"I'm at a loss for words, it's, it's beautiful... but, why would I need a dagger? I mean if it's a God made place?" Her question was valid, though she clearly wasn't aware of the violence and risks that Eden incased," Even if a place had an ancient deity constantly walking it's soil, it may still be riddle with evil"

"As with Eden, looks can be deceiving. It is filled with deadly things, weather they be from nature it's self or the humans that tend to it, you are never truly safe. And you, my love, you are a very important asset to us, we cannot have harm shadow you in anyway" I let my last words ring, so they would hopefully solidify in her head.

She nodded to my words as II and I said goodbye as we exited her cabin, and head back to mine, I hoped she would relax enough and think about everything for a while, I remember my first time in Eden, the overwhelming confusion, how empty it felt.

I was the first one here apart from sleep, after I became a Vessel for him, I helped to recruit more that may want to live their lives in Eden, and though my efforts where successful, those I recruited did not met Vessel standards

I then sought out those that Sleep would guide me to, and convert them to Vessel.

After years of this process we became what we are now, but in order to find more to live out their lives with us we started to make music in hope that many would join us.

We were successful, and both here in Eden and back in the mortal world we have gained Sleep quite the following, and will Continue to do so until we have reached what Sleep wants.

What exactly does he want? I'm not quite sure, he has never told me why, but then again you never ask a God as powerful as he a questions that might get you killed.

It was now quite late, the sun had receded once again, and the moon had come out to spread its Eerie glow across all of Eden

I made my way out of my cabin, heading towards the lake that flowed a little way from the village, I walked over to the tree where a bench sat next to it, overlooking the waters edge, the moon light illuminating the detail in the ripples as the edges of the dark liquid lap at the bank.

I sat down and grabbed put my note book, jotting down anything that would come to mind

I heard a ruffle of stones not far from me across the shoreline, I glanced into the direction, but nothing was there As I continued to write, the sound got closer, I decided to let it near -I was all but afraid of the mystery sound- and pretended as though I couldn't hear it.

The sound neared and I began to chuckle at their little games, "come to play, have we?" As I spoke, I heard a familiar sigh, then light, yet defeated foot steps that approached me. I turned my head to see the white flowy dress and glowing hair of the beautiful lady I once called mine

"Why Sugar, what are you doing up so late hmm?" I ask and she takes a seat beside me

"Thinking about what the actual fuck is going on I guess" she answered jokingly but a hint of seriousness burrows in her words

"I understand how you feel, but it will make sense in the end. I'll be here every step of the way, even though we may not be as we use to be, or live the lives as we did before, I said I would never leave your side and that promise stays" I admitted and she stared into my eyes, her gaze tangled with love, longing, and understanding, yet I could make out a tinge of Greif, defeat, and longing that clouded the glow that once shown from her.

I smiled a little at her as tears began to claim her eyes and she struggled to speak "you mean... we can never be, us again? We can't be what we use to?" Her voice broke, breaking my heart with each tear that would shed like a fragment of her Beauty becoming one that the Earth below us would claim

"I'm sorry, Sugar. And though I do love you very much, and the thought of loosing the one thing that means the most to me in This world and the next breaks my heart in two, for the time being, I will accept my defeat, I will admit that I can't pretend, we can ever be together in this world. The Risk is too high for you, my love. It would never be safe" my eyes joined her and became puffy under my mask and I sniffled slightly as she sobbed into my chest and hugged me tightly

This reminded me of that day in the beachfront, where she admitted most of her life problems to me and broke down as I shelter her in my arms, willing to protect her from any dangers that lurked near, or even the shadows that haunted her. the memory made me miss what we had even more, if that was even possible.

I never wanted to leave her, and even thought Sleep never ruled it out, us being together would only cause both of us more harm then not. I feel as thought I'm missing something when I don't get her sweet kisses in the morning, or when I don't get the nicknames or "love you" everyday

I will get use to it eventually, even if it does mean missing that part of me, I will have to forget about it and continue My duties as a Vessel and let nothing come between.
