Chapter 8: An Inspection Before the Storm

Warszawa's POV
I decided to let the girls do whatever they want after that tiny beach trip. Much to their dismay. Jeez...
Anyways. I have gone to the Docks to do some do some maintenance checks on my ship. Because why not?. Theirs a planned journey tomorrow and I need to check if my ship is capable or not.
I then boarded my ship and did what was in my maintenance checklist. Which is
Warszawa's Maintenance Checklist
- Visual Check
- Engine Check
- Bridge Instruments Check
- Radar and Sonar Check
- Main Armament Check
- Secondary Armament Check
- AA Guns Check
- Torpedo Tubes Check
Yeah. That's alot of work to do.
Oh well. I need to start.
Let's start with the first and easiest one on the list. The Visual Check. I might as well check the Torpedo, Main, Secondary and AA Guns while we're at it.
So I took a stroll around the deck to check if theirs no suspicious activities going on on my ship.

I then stumbled across the Port Secondary Armaments. The design of the placement of the Secondary Armament is pretty similar to that of the new "North Carolina" Class Fast Battleships that are being built for the Eagle Union
(A/N: The North Carolina we're not in commission during this time but is being built from 1937-1941. And since it's 1939. Their gonna be well known by this time. Especially North Carolina which if we skip by one more year and a few months. Our timeline now is December 1939. North Carolina would be launched.)
Although the only difference between my placement of my Secondaries and the Eagle Unions Approach is that mine is more closely compact while theirs has a noticeable space between them. And also the fact that I have 6 Inch Guns instead of their 5 Inch guns. Oh and also the fact that mine has 2 Turrets above, 3 Turrets Bottom while theirs is 3 Turrets above, 2 Turrets bottom. Anyways.
