CH.4- concert

Jake's POV:

It's finally Friday and I can't wait to hang out with Johnnie. He went straight to history friends house to help get ready so I had to walk to the parking lot alone. I met up with Colby and got into his car. It's been so long since I've seen him drive I'm kinda scared. I started looking through his CDs as he starts to pull out of the parking lot.

"So you getting dressed at my house?" He asks

"If it's okay with you." I say

"Yeah it's all good." He smiles

"That guy lives right next to you right?" I ask as we get closer to his house

"Uh yeah."

"So we'll probably see them leave." I smile

"I guess... You know you can just ask Johnnie if he wants to hang out before the show." Colby laugh's

"Yeah but idk...if he wanted to he would have asked."

"Yeah I guess."

We got out of the car and start walking to Colby's room.

"Mom, Jake's here." Colby yells before shutting his bedroom door

"Okay honey, let me know if you boys need anything." She yells back

We hang out and do homework for a while before it's time for us to get dressed.

"Have you ever heard of the venue that were going t" Colby asks

"No, honestly I don't thinks it's an actual venue." I laugh

"Why's that?"

"Because it's literally a house address."

"Oh shit. He's trying to get us killed." Colby laugh's

"100%"

We start driving and pull up to this random house. We get out of the car and start walking to the door. Once we get in I'd say there's about 10 people sitting inside.

"Is this the right house?" Colby asks

"I think so.." I question, looking back at the address

"Oh hey guys." I look up and see Johnnie

He's wearing white shirt and a green jacket with fake blood all over it

"The show is downstairs." He smiles as he starts dragging us down

"You know when you said you friend preforms small shows I didn't expect it to be in a dirty basement.." Colby jokes

"Yeah well basement shows are the coolest ones." Johnnie adds

"I think it looks cool." I smile

"Anyways uh, there's drinks wherever and if you want to get close then go to the stage now. I gotta go so I'll see you guys soon." He says before he runs off

"I guess we should start walking." I shrug

Before heading to the stage we went to some mini fridge and grabbed some drinks then started walking to the stage. It took a while before the show started and there was still no sign of Johnnie. All the lights go off then turn back on with smoke coming from the stage. Just then 2 shadows come out from the fog. It's Johnnie and some dude. I didn't know that Johnnie was going to perform as well.

"Hey guys I'm scuff and this is my friend Johnnie and we'll be performing tonight! How many of you have seen me before."
Scuff yells

A few hands go up

"So many new people tonight! I hope you guys really enjoy our show.now, let's get fucking started."

They start playing and jumping around on stage. I cant believe that Johnnie is up on stage playing music like as if it's no big deal. He won't even play in guitar class but here he's like a superstar.
