CH.10 - ... trying to keep things normal

Johnnies pov:

After waking up in my own bed for what feels like the first time this week, I roll over and see Jake still sleeping. I slowly get out of bed and get dressed before heading to the kitchen to make breakfast. By the time I finished cooking I can hear Jake getting out of bed.

"Morning." Jake smiles

"Morning." I smile back
"I made food if you want any." I say as I slide a plate over to him

"Thanks." He says as he takes a seat and starts eating

When were done with breakfast I let Jake go through my closet and find some clothes that he can wear. He takes a random shirt, a hoodie, and some jeans. I blush knowing that the hottest at school is wearing my clothes. We walk out the house and get into my car and drive to school. At school we had some time to fuck around before the bell rang.

"The bells about to ring and I got to go to the bathroom so I'll see you after class." Jake smiles as he gives me a kiss on the cheek goodbye

I just stand there shocked that he would kiss me at school. The moment was ruined when I heard a voice behind me.

"Wow, that's so cute. You got him tied around your finger, huh?" Bryan laughs as he walks out of the janitors closet

"I don't know what you mean." I say, straight faced

"I mean you actually got him to kiss you, at school too. Must have really convinced him that you actually have feelings." He smiles

"Do you hear the words coming out of your mouth? You sound crazy." I say, wanting to walk away from this conversation

"Does he know how crazy you were for him?" Bryan starts before the bell cuts him off

"Whatever, I have to go to class.. stay the fuck away from me." I say as I rush my way to class

First period felt like it took forever. All I could think about was Bryan. When walking to class with Jake it felt like all eyes were on us even though no one could give a shit about us. From the corner of my eye I could see him looking at us. He's around every corner. When I would drop Jake off at his class it's like I could feel HIS breath on my neck. By the time lunch came around I couldn't take it anymore.

"Bryan I know your following me." I say just as I leave the hallway

"I'm just doing my job..I have no idea what your talking about."

"I'm sure you don't."

"I really don't." He smiles

"Okay whatever." I say as I start to walk over to the benches where I normally eat

"I think we should finish our conversation from earlier." Bryan says as he grabs my wrist

"What?"

"I mean, does he know?" Bryan asks

"I literally don't know what your talking about."

"Does Jake know how obsessed you were?" He laughs
"He used to be all you would talk about."

"That was what? Freshman year?" I start

"Yeah but you never really stopped liking him."

"Whatever, I don't see how that's important at all." I say just wanting to go over to where Jake is sitting

"I'm just saying...would Jake still want to be around you if he knew what you did sophomore year? You know how it fucked him up after."

"That-thats not my fault. You planed the whole thing and forced me into it." I stutter
