CH.21 - what are we?

Jake's pov:

I wake up on the couch with Johnnie snuggling on top of me. I smile as I give him a kiss on the cheek. I want to get up but I know I can't without waking up johnnie. I give him a tight hug, I keep hugging him until I see hie eyes open.

"Morning." I smile

"Morning." His voice muffled as he shoves his face in my chest

"We need to get up for school." I giggle

"Do we have to?" Voice still muffled

I pick up my phone to look at the time and see that I have a text from Sam.

"Yeah, Sam is already on his way and if we don't come out then he'll definitely kick our ass." I say as I sit up

"UGHHHH, fine." Johnnie frowns as he sits up, sitting on my lap

"I can make you breakfast, will that make you feel better?" I ask

"I'm not really hungry." Johnnie then gets up

"Well I am so imma make some toaster waffles and your going to eat them and enjoy them." I smile as I walk to the kitchen

"Whatever." Johnnie rolls his eyes
"Imma head to your room and get dressed."

I give him a smile as I put the waffles in the toaster. I then follow him up and walk in on him putting on one of my shirts. I blush at his pale skin. He then turns around and smiles.

"Hope you don't mind I'm taking your shit." He blushes

"It's fine, I think it's cute when you wear my clothes." I walk up to him and give him a kiss on the forehead

I then get dressed myself and we walk downstairs together. I get our waffles and put them on a napkin so we can eat them on he way to school. I get a text from Sam saying that he's here. I grab Johnnies hand and we walk out the door.

"So, how was your Valentines day?" Sam asks as we get in the car

"Good." I smile
"How was your guy's?"

"It was goo-" Sam get cut off by Colby

"We almost got fucking caught breaking in." Colby rolls his eyes

"Okay it wasn't- like it wasn't that bad.." Sam says, putting a hand in Colbys thigh

"We could have went to jail....but it was still fun." Colby smiles as he looks at Sam

The rest of the ride was quite. A nice kind of quiet though. I look at Johnnie for most of the ride. I watch as he slowly eats the slightly burnt waffle. I smile, I'm glad that he's eating. I don't know what's going on in his head but I can't wait for the day to be let in.

Johnnies pov:

The school day was... weird I guess I could say. The hallways were full of brand new couples holding hands, hugging, and kissing. There were also brand new broken up couples. Girls walking down the hallway with makeup running down there eyes and boys running up to random girls trying to get into there pants. I think this is the first time in A while that I haven't been single on Valentine's day. I never thought that I would care but I guess I do.

"Johnnie!?" I hear a girls voice say my name

"Hi?" I say confused as I turn around and see a girl that I don't really know. I think I helped her when I helped Jake's guitar class

"So uh...I know this might sound weird because Valentine's day already passed but uh.. would you like to go out some time and just hang out?" She asks as she plays with her long brown hair
