chapter one ! change of plans !!

you walked through the house very carefully but quickly, you rolled your suitcases through the house. you were planning to leave your husband at one clock in the morning.
you walked over to see megumi's lunchbox on the ground, you playful rolled your hands. "meg! i swear i told that boy to clean up after himself." you let go of your suitcase and bend down to get the lunch off the ground.
you got up and slowly placed the lunchbox on the counter, "are you leaving?" you stopped when you heard a little voice. you turned around, "meg, you're supposed to be in bed." you spoke nervously.
"i couldn't sleep but where are you going?" megumi asked you again and you sighed, "no i'm not leaving you my boy." you said and walked over to grab his hand.
"let's go to bed okay?" you smiled and he nodded, you sighed and looked back at your suitcase than you looked over to see toji still sleeping.
you walked into megumi's room and he laid down in his bed, you sat beside the bed as you rubbed his head. "please don't go mama." megumi said softly as his eyes got heavy.
"how could i leave my beautiful boy?" you whispered to him and kissed him on the forehead. megumi's eyes closed and you leaned your back against the wall.
you truly didn't want to leave megumi because to him you were the only mother that he ever had even though you weren't his mother at all.
you loved megumi more than anything so you thought you would stick this out for him. it's not like you didn't love toji and you were tired of fighting just for him not to listen.
"what are the suitcases for?" toji asked and you immediately got up, "can we talk about this somewhere other than here?" you said and walked pass him.
toji followed you to the kitchen, "i was going to leave but megumi walked in and i realized that maybe i should stay." you answered honestly.
you sat on the counter and toji stood between your legs, "i'm sorry for not listening to you ma." toji said softly and you turned your head.
"it's fine." you said, toji placed his hands on each thigh. "it's not fine and i'm sorry." toji spoke as he rubbed your thigh with his thumb.
you turned your head back to see his face, "i forgive you." you said and toji smirked. you wrapped your arms around his neck and gently kissed his forehead.
