The night was young and the air was filled with the aroma of popcorn and the faint sound of a movie playing in the background. Y/N and Hayley were sprawled out on the living room couch, engrossed in the world of the film they were watching. Their laughter echoed through the house, a house that Y/N used to share with Renee before she left for her tour three months ago.

Suddenly, Y/N's phone buzzed, disrupting the tranquility of the moment. The screen lit up to reveal Renee's smiling face, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Hey baby, how's your day?" she asked, her voice echoing through the room.

Y/N couldn't help but smile at the sight of her. "It was good," she replied, her eyes darting over to Hayley who was now curiously looking at the screen. "I'm at the living room right now. I'm with Hayley, you know the girl I talked to you about."

Renee's smile faltered for a moment, a flicker of something crossing her face. It was jealousy, a feeling she wasn't familiar with. She had been away for so long, and the thought of Y/N spending time with someone else, in their house, made a pang of jealousy surge through her. She tried to brush it off, to hide it behind a smile, but the feeling lingered.

"Oh, Hayley. That's nice. I hope you two are having fun," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. But her eyes, they told a different story. They were filled with longing, a longing to be back home, to be with Y/N. But for now, all she could do was smile through the screen, hiding her jealousy behind a facade of happiness.

Another month had passed since Renee had left, and Y/N's heart ached with longing. "I miss you, Renee," she would whisper to herself, hoping that somehow her words would reach Renee. One night, her heart sank as Renee ignored her messages and calls. "Why isn't she answering?" Y/N thought to herself, her heart heavy with sadness. She cried herself to sleep that night, her pillow soaked with tears and her heart filled with worry.

In the dead of the night, she was startled awake by noises coming from downstairs. Fear gripped her as she grabbed her baseball bat and cautiously made her way downstairs. She was ready to swing at the intruder, but froze when she saw who it was.

"Renee?" Y/N gasped in surprise.

Renee turned around, a sheepish smile on her face. "Hey, baby."

Y/N dropped the bat in surprise and relief, rushing into Renee's arms. Their lips met in a passionate kiss, a kiss filled with longing and love. Renee held Y/N close, whispering into her ear, "I've missed you so much, Y/N."

"I've missed you too, Renee," Y/N replied, her voice choked with emotion.

Renee pulled back, looking into Y/N's eyes. "I can't take another month without you by my side. Pack your bags, baby. You're joining me for the rest of the tour."

Tears of joy streamed down Y/N's face as she hugged Renee tighter. "I'd love that, Renee."

The longing was finally over, and they were together again. The house, once filled with loneliness, was now filled with laughter and love, a testament to their reunion.
