" ako na sana nag bayad non " I spoke
and gave him a silent death glare as i placed the brown paper bag in my lap, Dwight glanced at me and saw my expression. He laughs at me
"It's nothing, seriously. Fast foods are always cheap but unhealthy " Dwight responded as took off the plastic lid from the ice cream and began eating it
" do you want some? " I asked and gave him some of the fries.
Dwight didn't say anything but only extended his tattooed arm and grabbed so much of my fries, that I gasped and tried to stop him.
I laughed and watched him put the whole of it inside his mouth and eat it
" ano bayan Dwight! Di mo na ko tinirahan, dapat sinabi mo na gusto mo " I complained jokingly and Dwight only chuckles.
But I can't help but admire him, he looks so good when he smiles
before he can notice the redness of my cheeks, I look away and continue finishing the ice cream para di maternal o tumulo mamaya
"I paid that Stella " I heard him say cockily and I just rolled my eyes at him.
After a while of listening to the radio and eating the meal I ordered, I opened the box of nuggets and sauce
" eh eto? gusto mo? " I asked and showed him the hot nuggets
Dwight looked at me for a few seconds before looking away, shaking his head. I swallowed the lump in my throat
noticing how he looks at me
" no, it's yours. Eat it so you won't gonna be hungry later and have me pay again " Dwight says and I look at him, jaw dropped
" hoy! sa pag kakatanda ko di mo ko hinayaan mag bayad na to noh! Besides, I still have money left, I can buy myself food later " I explained and pulled out my tongue on him, he only chuckled and shook his head
after a while of driving
I was full and looking around the place to notice that we were beside the Manila Ocean, now I was curious where Dwight was taking me until I saw the large, aquarium-like building.
"I've never been here before " I mumbled
as Dwight didn't say anything but park his car in the parking lot when the two of us got outside. Dwight locked his car and walked beside me
nag mamadali kami dahil mainit yung araw sa labas, when we arrived inside there was a long line at the entrance.
I thought me and Dwight have to wait until he grabbed my hand
making me look up at him confusedly
" We do not need to wait, I bought us VIP tickets," He says
I open my mouth to say something but before a word could even get out, Dwight pulled me with him to the other line where there were only four people in
when it was our town, the staff greeted us nicely and I noticed that he has been looking between me and Dwight few times
before tying around their ticket to our wrists and letting us in.
I saw that there were a lot of stores around the lobby and when me and Dwight walked inside further in the building, I couldn't help but not to let out a gasp when I saw the largest aquarium in my life
Dwight didn't stop me from running
I stopped infront of the large aquarium and watched the different species of fish swim in the water behind the tall glass. Now I can see why there were lots of people and kids waiting outside in the line
the place was breathtaking.
I smiled and watched the Manta Ray creature swim past by
I noticed in the corner of my eye that Dwight stood beside me, and we both watched the sea creatures swim behind the glass
"Dimo naman sinabi na di to mo ko dadalhin," I said quietly and didn't cast my eyes off the large aquarium infront of me
"If I told you then it's not gonna be a surprise anymore, Stella " Dwight replied and glanced down at me with a small smile on his face
I felt my heart pounding in my chest, and I smiled at him
the two of us began walking around, we went inside a hallway where the entire room was an aquarium
I watched the creatures with happiness in my eyes and I took out my phone to record them swimming away while I and Dwight slowly walked together
" Do you want me to take a picture of you? "
surprisingly, he asked me, I looked up at him, thinking he was just joking as I raised my eyebrow at him, Dwight rolled his eyes at me. I never thought a guy would do that but,
"Sure, to oh. Ayusin mo ah " I said and playfully slammed my phone at his hard, like-rock chest. Dwight chuckled and grabbed my phone
luckily the hallway was big, so I stood at the side of the aquarium and posed infront of Dwight, I know I should be feeling embarrassed or shy because it was Dwight
but how he looked at me with his gaze, and how he smiles at me soothes something in me.
I smiled at the camera and Dwight began taking pictures of me
it was a few shots and Dwight lowered my phone, not taking his eyes off me
" Eres realmente hermosa, " Dwight says those words softly
I think it's Spanish. I furrowed my eyebrow in confusion
" huh? Di kita maintindihan " I said. Dwight immediately looked away when his cheeks started turning red, he cleared his throat and handed me back my phone
" I said your face looks terrible on camera " He responded.
I sent him a glare and looked down at the pictures he captured me, part of me was hurt, did he mean it?
but then our moment was cut off when we heard a girl call his name. Me and Dwight turned around to look who it was
but it was one of his girls, carrying branded shopping bags in her arms, wearing heels and revealing clothes as she rolled her eyes and walked over infront of Dwight
" why are you not answering my phone calls, Dwight? " The girl complained, but when she noticed that I was beside Dwight.
She looks at me, in a dirty way
"And who are you? If you're one of Dwight's whores, I suggest you get lost- " But before the girl can finish her sentence, Dwight cuts her off
" enough "
shivers ran down my spine when hearing his voice turn cold and dominant again
Dwight took one step forward while glaring at the girl beneath him.
" ugh! Why are you even defending her? anyways, di naman importante. Here, dalhin mo to at hatid mo na ko samin, babe "
