"I hate you, Dwight! I wish you rot in hell"
everyone turned around when we heard a scream from a girl, I saw her crying and slapping Dwight's chest
he did not even react to it but only watched her walk out of the hallway and stomp her foot on the floor
" gaga " I heard Diane whisper
as we both stood beside our lockers in the hallway, Sean and Austin's Dwight friends came up to him, but before he left with his friends
Dwight glanced at me and sent me a small smile before walking away, the students in the hallway eventually came back to their senses and what they were doing
I took a deep breath and watched him disappear from my sight
" huy, ano yon, ah? " Diane asks, i turned to her and acted like nothing happened
" huh? " I asked
" the look that Dwight gave to you, may something na ba? " Diane asks and my cheeks turn red
I look away from her, trying my best not to let her notice the redness of my cheeks
" Wala noh, tara na nga " I lied and locked her arm with me as we both headed to our next class
after a few hours, I was hungry so I ate lunch with Diane
and since Zack had a full schedule today, he chose to stay at the class while I and Diane have no more classes left for today.
I was eating tapsilog, paborito kong kainin araw araw, na may sabaw at malamig na tubig.
We were both chatting and almost finished with our food when I noticed in the corner of my eye that someone sent me a message, i picked it up and opened my phone and saw it was Dwight who messaged me
'come to the parking lot after your lunch, I miss you, princess'
I didn't notice na napangiti nalang ako dahil sa message niya, i stared at it for a while, and I forgot that Diane was still here with me
"Huy! patingin nga," She said
I snapped out from my thought and immediately pulled my phone away from her
"Ikaw ha, may tinatago ka sakin bes " She continued and I gave her a playful smile
" Wala kaya," I said and she just rolled her eyes at me. I waited for Diane to finish her food and the both of us left the cafeteria when we were done
hinted ko siya sa labas at buti nalang may jeep na naka abang, I waved my hands at her and walked back to the campus towards the parking lot where i know Dwight was waiting for me
since it was a building, I walked inside and just took the stairs to go to the third floor. I walked around to look for Dwight, and there I saw him.
Wearing black shorts for men, a dark navy blue hoodie, and a hat that hides his hair
but my heart skipped a beat when I saw the red rose bouquet he was holding in his hand, wrapped in black and red paper. I walked towards Dwight, and when he saw that it was me
a soft smile spread across his face as he faced me. There are no words I can explain how Dwight looks so handsome when his smiling
usually everyone sees his face as usual, stone, cold, or not in the mood. But I got used to seeing him smile often
I walked closer to him and gave him a hug, which he returned by wrapping his arm around me
" how's your day? " He asks. And I noticed the tiredness in his voice.
" it was great, finished training? " I asked while looking up into his eyes, to which Dwight responded with a nod.
I blushed when I received the bouquet he bought for me
"I'm sorry that you have to see the scene earlier... But, I just want to tell you that I blocked all of the girls in my social media account, ignore whoever tries to seduce me, and im not even looking at any girls that are not y- " Before I can let him finish his sentence
I tiptoed my toes from the ground and crushed my lips to Dwight's which made him freeze in his spot, I smiled and felt that he was beginning to kiss me back.
When I pulled away from his arms, we both looked at each other with smiles on our faces
" thank you for doing this, Dwight," I said softly
Dwight grabbed my other hand and placed a kiss on my knuckles which made my heart pound even more
"I think im the one who should be thanking you, you're helping me to do better for you babe " Dwight responded
and I smiled cheekily at him when he added the pet name he calls me
Dwight and I walked to his car and he opened the car door for me and shut it when i sat inside, Dwight began to drive out of the campus while i was still holding the roses in my arms.
" where are we going? " I asked as he turned to the left, only using his right hand on the steering wheel
" Do you want to grab a coffee first at the Starbucks with me before I show you my apartment? " Dwight offers, and muntikan na kong mabilaukan sa sinabi niya, but he knows how much i love coffee
" sure " I replied.
And since there weren't any Ateneo students inside the Starbucks
Dwight just lowered his cap lower to hide his face as we both walked out of his car
I stood next to him, and unexpectedly, Dwight grabbed my hand and locked his fingers to mine. Making me look up at him and blush
The two of us walked inside the store and when the aroma of coffee hit my nostrils
it immediately relaxed me
"You know coffee is also bad for your health right? " I heard Dwight tell me and I rolled my eyes at him
" and you know how much I love coffee," I said and lined in the counter as I heard him let out a snort
