Lily Evans had a drunken night after a huge fight with James ending with a one night stand with her childhood friend Severus Snape results in an unplanned Pregnancy she spends the next nine months avoiding both James and Severus  studying Obscure Magic she creates a Magical Stasis Compartment after giving birth to a boy she places the child inside keeping him as his is for over a year, during that time she made up and married James and once again became pregnant with a child, seeing how James was during her pregnancy and after the birth of Harry she felt guilty, she didn't give her first born, she altered the compartment to allow the boy to grow while feeding him and keeping him alive this started as a way to eventually tell Severus everything then became a way to ensure the survival of both her children when it became clear Voldemort was coming for Harry, then October 31st 1991 came and The Potters were Killed except for Harry, that night Severus Snape arrived to find the woman he loved dead on the floor in her child's bedroom he cradled her body crying out in agony until he saw her clutching a letter in her hand adressed to him it contained An Apology, a confession of why she avoided him and location of stasis Cradle holding their Son as well as her final wish for their son be raised by His Father, Severus went to the location and recovered his son he was a mixture of the best features of both he and Lily he saw he too shared her eyes he named the boy Cerberus Evans Snape but called him Ceb for short. He knew this boy would do great things and would survive everything that came his way. Harry Potter may be The Boy Who Lived , But Cerberus Snape Would be The Boy Who Survived.
