Today is a bad day.
During the day, Satoru followed Sukuna when he went for a hunt. Sukuna ordered Satoru just to watch from the distance, but the brat is feeling cocky about his ability. So instead of obeying the elder, he went to hunt a rabbit.
Unfortunately, he didn't notice a wild boar near him when he caught the rabbit. So he got hit by the boar.
Yeah, Sukuna didn't look amused. Luckily, Kuna kills the boar before it can do anymore damage. The incident made the hunting session longer than anticipated, and Sukuna is not having it

After that, he was scolded by Sukuna for hours. Kuna scolded him for being too cocky, having no self-preservation, and disobedient
His body hurts, and he's being scolded. His spoiled ass just couldn't handle it, so he starts to cry and whine
Kuna stopped after that and left Satoru alone on the porch. The kid sniffles as he clutches his (Sukuna's) haori closer to his sore body, protecting him from the chilling air. He stargaze, as his mind runs to his family. 'Are they searching for me now?', or 'Are they even worried?'.
His thoughts were cut off when he heard the front door was opened. He can hear Kuna walking behind him. Feeling salty after being scolded, he crossed his arms on his chest and huffed
"I'm not hearing your nagging again"
He said, just casually being a brat.
He can hear Kuna sigh behind him. "I'm not planning on that, brat"
Feeling confused, Satoru says. "What? Then why would you-". In the corner of his eyes, he can see a soft flicker of fire. Satoru glanced at Sukuna and saw Kuna was holding a kikufuku with candles on it "Here, Happy 7th birthday brat." Satoru had forgotten that 7 December is his birthday
Satoru's eyes lit up with delight when he saw the lit candles in the kikufuku. He immediately looks at Kuna and gives him a radiant smile that shows his gratitude. He let go of the railing and jumped. He immediately went to Kuna. He grabbed the edge of his (Sukuna's) haori and gave the elder a big and energetic hug that he always has shown to him
He blows the candle excitedly and hugs Sukuna again. Sukuna huffed, "You looked extremely happy, brat"
The kid grins. "It's my first birthday that I have spent with someone other than my clan. Of course, I am happy!"
"Ah- yes~ yes~ A typical young master." Kuna said sarcastically, making Satoru pout
"It's not like I choose to be there. Anyways, can I make my wish to you?"
"What? Me?" Sukuna looked lost for a second before he shrugged. "Yeah sure, let's hear it. What do you want?"
Satoru looks hesitant and shy. "Can you..." A blush covered the kid's cheeks before he blurted out. "Stay with me, always?"
Kuna blinks."Excuse me?"
"I want you to stay with me, always and forever! I want you by my side when I become the Gojo clan head! I want you to stay with me even when we're old and wrinkly! I want you to be beside me when I achieve my goal to be the strongest!-"
Kuna looked stunned. The brat keeps rambling and rambling about his wishes for him to stay by his side
"Do you realize what you're just saying brat? You literally propose to me."
