Standing in front of Shigaraki was two of his former teammates from the league of villains Himiko Toga and Toya Todoroki also known as Dabi who notably had all of his burn wounds removed
Shigaraki: Dabi, Toga how did you two end up here?!
Dabi: How the hell should we know one minute we were dead next minute we woke up here
Toga: Tomura do you have any idea what's going on?

Shigaraki: Well my current home is quite big so you two could live there. How would you two feel about joining me in school I could probably pull some strings to get you two in
Dabi and Toga: Fine with me
After finishing there conversation at the cafe the three of them made there way to Shigarakis home were they we're surprising welcomed with open arms. Shigaraki was shocked by his parents reaction but then considered he mainly hung out with the perverted duo so in their eyes anyone is an improvement from them.

We see Shigaraki making his way to school once he arrives he makes his way to the student council office to try to get his friends enrolled into the academy
Shigaraki: Hello Sona may I have a moment of your time to talk to you about something?
Sona: yes please come sit, would you like to play a game of chess as we discuss the topic at hand?
Shigaraki: Sure, So the reason I'm here is I'm wonderful if you could possibly help me enroll two of my friends
Sona: Oh? I'm quite surprised you have friends outside of school considering you mainly hangout with the perverted duo
Shigaraki: Well you see these two I have known for a long time and I have gotten quite close to them
Sona: I see well it shouldn't be a problem I'll have the papers done for them in the next few days

He reinforces his point by letting out an intimidating aura that puts Sona on high alert
