"Tell us of the accommodations in steerage, Mr Dawson. I hear they are quite good on this ship."

Ginny rolls her eyes in disbelief "shut up you old hag" she snaps annoyed at Ruth. Molly turns to her daughter in surprise "Ginny!" She hisses, of course she doesn't like Ruth but she didn't think Ginny should be talking about anybody like that.

Wider: the table. Jack is seated opposite Rose, who is flanked by Cal and Thomas Andrews. Also at the table are Molly Brown, Ismay, Colonel Gracie, the Countess, Guggenheim, Madame Aubert, and the Astors.

Ron looked at the screen interested, he couldn't wait to see what sort of muggle food they will eat. Perhaps if it looks nice he might try and get Fred and George to get some for him.

"The best I've seen, m'am. Hardly any rats." Rose motions surreptitiously for Jack to take his napkin off his plate.

"Why did he have to take the napkin off his plate?" A curious student asked, to which Rose responded simply "equitte" (I don't know how to spell it but yk)

"Mr Dawson is joining us from the third class. He was some assistance to my fiancé last night" Cal says

Rose couldn't help but grimace at the label 'fiancé' she hated it when Cal labelled her that, it made her feel like she had no purpose other than to be his fiancé and to serve his needs.

Cal then turns to Jack as if talking to a child "this is foie gras. It's goose liver"

"He's clearly trying to get jack into trouble, how rude" Hermione looked furious.

We see whispers exchanged. Jack becomes the subject of furtive glances. Now they're all feeling terribly liberal and dangerous.

"Poor boy" Narcissa couldn't help but feel kind of sorry for the muggle, if Draco was in a situation like this she wouldn't be happy.

"What is Hockly hoping to prove, bringing this ... bohemian... up here?" Guggenheim says in a low voice to Madame Aubert

"How do you take caviar sir?" The waiter says to Jack

"Just a soupçon of lemon" cal answered for jack "it improves the flavour with champagne"

Jack turned to the waiter "No caviar for me thanks." He then turned to Cal "never did like it much."

He looks at Rose, Pokerfaced and she smiles.

Gushing comes from around the hall, many found it cute how he didn't want caviar because rose said she didn't like it.

Rose looks at the scene fondly, she remembered that was how she realised her feelings for Jack, even if it was something small. Nobody has ever done something like that for her before, she could remember feeling warm, jack had a funny way of making her feel that.
