At home, you finally slept like a baby, having a good nights sleep and dreaming a good dream now. In the morning, you wake up with quite messed up hair and a bit drooling mouth. You wipe the drool away and stand up, going to the bathroom. You open the door and look at yourself in the mirror. You yawn and stretch, now fixing your hair. You turn on the faucet and wash your face, teeth too. After that, you go back to your bedroom and put on the outfit for the day. You put some perfume to smell good. You grab your phone, wallet, gear, and car keys. You go to your car and get in, starting it and driving to the Starr park. Today is friday, which means tomorrow and sunday will be free days. You soon arrive and get out of the car, walking inside. You put your phone and wallet in the locker and lock it. You turn on your radio and get ready for the day.
Larry sees you and goes to you
"Good morning, pal."
Larry says
"Morning."
You reply and look at him
"Im so glad that he apologized to you yesterday!"
He says, rather excited
"It's okay, he shouldve apologized in the morning and not evening,"
You say, with a chuckle
He chuckles back and hears your radio
"Y/N and Lawrie, to my office"
Someone says on your radio, it's your boss
You sigh
"I'll talk to you later,"
You say to Larry
"Yeah, me too. Good luck."
He says
You nod and go to the office, quite nervous. What could he possibly want? There is sitting Lawrie, you came a bit late
"Of course you come last."
Lawrie says under his breath
You roll your eyes and sit down, already disgusted by seeing him.
"So, i heard you two dont get along very well,"
Your boss says
You nod and look at him, Lawrie looks at the boss with crossed arms. Lawrie sometimes side eyes you.
"Well, i got a perfect mission for you two,"
He says
You and Lawrie get interested, but still disgusted by doing it together.
"There is something going on in Starr Park. People keep disappearing out of the thin air. Strange sounds have been heard underground. Im putting you two to check the underground base and report what you see. "
Your boss says
You and Lawrie nod and leave the office. Lawrie starts to blame you
"Its your fault that you dont see them on cameras,"
Lawrie says
"Excuse me? There are like a thousand people walking in Starr Park, and it's my fault?"
You say
"How could you possibly not see that they keep disappearing?"
Lawrie says
"Well, im sorry that i dont have a thousand eyes, you dingus."
You say, sighing after
"Whatever, let's go find those people."
Lawrie says
You nod and make sure that your flashlight works. You two run into Larry. Lawrie tells his brother that they two are going to check underground, and Larry seems to be rather concerned for them, that they will start to fight with each other there underground. Lawrie calms him down and tells him it will be okay. You just stand there and then walk off with Lawrie.
You and Lawrie walk to the park and go to the underground hole that is in the park. You two go down, watching your step on the stairs, so you two won't fall. You two shortly arrive and turn on your flashlights. The underground base seems abandoned and full of water, like someone was spraying the whole base. You check your radio but it has no service so if any help is needed, no way of getting it. You two walk the hallway for a long time before you two see something.
People in hospital gowns are stuffed in some kind of glass containers that are full of green liquid. What is this place? You go to one of the containers and look at the human inside. It's someone who was missing yesterday, wait. Its all of them here
"Lawrie?"
You say
He looks at you
"Aren't all of these people missing?"
You ask
"Yeah, we have to report this."
Lawrie says
You nod and grab your notebook, writing it down. You write a whole page, explaining everything. Lawrie grabs a hammer and wants to see if he can free them. You see this and sigh
"Dont."
You say
"I won't, just checking."
Lawrie says
You start to feel weird, like the floor is shaking, you look at Lawrie
"Lawrie?"
You say
"Do you feel it?"
Lawrie looks at you
"Yeah, i do,"
Lawrie says
You two look at the ground and start to see cracks, then in the cracks, you start to see green? Lawrie sees this and pushes you out the way. The floor breaks, and a man rises up. You look at Lawrie and then at the man
The man is rather tall. He has a coat on which looks like a doctor would wear. His hair looks like albert einstein. He has other arms sticking out of his back. Is he a scientist?
You stand up and grab your gun, pointing to the scientist. Lawrie stands up and goes to you, pointing his gun at the scientist
"What the fuck is he?"
Lawrie says
"He looks like albert einstein"
You say
"You look like you dont have a father"
The scientist says
"Shut up!"
You say (you have a father)
"What is your name!"
Lawrie says
The scientist chuckles
"My name is Marco, the crazy scientist"
You keep your laugh inside as the marco name seems rather funny to you
"Whats so funny?"
The scientist says
"Did your parents hate you"
You say
"What kind of stupid question is that"
Marco says
"Nevermind"
You say
While Lawrie has the chance, he shoots Marco's leg. Marco falls onto his knee and then the arm flies to him and pins him against the wall. You look at Lawrie and back at the scientist. You go to him and taze him. Marco punches you in the face, making you stumble back. You clench your fists and glare at the scientist. Lawrie tazes his arm and gets out of his grasp. The scientist seems rather strong. You punch the scientist in the face, but one of his arms pushes you hard against the wall. Lawrie shoots his stomach, but the scientist seems to be wearing a bulletproof vest. The scientist chuckles and pushes him away. You stand up, holding your side. The scientist goes to Lawrie and he grabs his arm, wanting to tear it apart. You shoot the scientist in the legs, arms. You grab your knife and go to the scientist, stabbing him from behind. The scientist backs off and chokes
"You fool!"
The scientist yells
You glare at him while holding your side. You keep watch on the scientist, whos slowly dying. You lower your guard for a moment as the scientist seems to pass out but he tricked you.
The next thing you know, he grabbed a small object from the floor and stabbed your abdomen. You are in shock, you look at the object now in your abdomen, you groan in pain and fall to your knees. The scientist dies next. You fall to the floor and look at the scientist, breathing heavily.
