He slammed the door closed.

Leaned against it.

That voice.

That voice!

She was the one.

The one who called him that.

"Seaweed Brain."

Her voice sounded like velvet.

Smooth, beautiful velvet.

"Wise Girl."

He whispered that name again.

"Percy?"

A quiet voice was at the door.

This wasn't how she should be.

A memory popped up.

The blonde.

Wise Girl.

Weilding a dagger and that now familiar shield.

Fighting through Nazis.

Nazis?

He knew that.

Nazis were where Hydra started.

Hydra Nazis.

Nazis were bad.

His Wise Girl was fighting them.

His Wise Girl?

Yes.

Definitely.

"C'mon, Percy, open the door."

She was pleading.

"Annabeth, I don't know if he'll open up."

The doctor.

Will Solace.

What was her name?

Annabeth.

He smiled.

It was perfect.

It matched up.

Brought back memories.

Many battles fought.

Jokes made.

Kisses stolen.

With the blonde.

With Annabeth.

Abruptly he yanked open the door.

The others in the room gaped at him.

A redhead.

A blond man he didn't recognize.

The blond from his memories.

Steve.

That was his name.

Will Solace.

A man with grey and black hair and a goatee.

Nico lay on the table with bandages wrapped around him.

He felt tears creep into his eyes.

"Percy?"

The blonde was talking again.

Annabeth.

"I...I don't remember much." He whispered.

Her grey eyes filled with tears.

Streaming slowly down her face, they ruined her.

She looked vulnerable.

Annabeth was not supposed to look vulnerable.

"Annabeth."

He took her face with one hand.

He tipped her chin up.

"Help me."

------------------------------

Annabeth stared into the sea green eyes that she had once known so well. They looked empty, but there was a pleading nature to them.

Percy was in there somewhere. And it was her job to pull him out again.

She grabbed his face lightly and pulled him down to meet her lips.

Percy's hair was shorter than it had been before the incident, Annabeth noted that as her fingers slid over the slightly rough strands that made up the military cut. He'd never conformed to the uniformity of having the same haircut as his comrades when he was working with the unit.

Some sort of memory must have taken over in Percy's mind because Annabeth felt his muscular arms wrap around her waist as he carefully pulled her towards him.

Someone groaned. "Can you not, Annabeth? I just got shot a half an hour ago."

Percy pulled away abruptly and looked at the ground like he wanted to sink into it. Annabeth turned to look at Nico. He had turned on his side that wasn't injured and was watching them with mild pain in his eyes.

"Percy?" The son of Hades asked hesitantly.

"N-Nico." Her amnesiac boyfriend responded quietly.

"What do you remember?" Nico tried to sit up and grunted in annoyance when Will pushed him back down.

"I...I remember some things. Not names, but some voices...some battles."

Nico nodded.

Percy looked at his shoes again, then muttered something.

"What did you say, Percy?" Annabeth asked.

"I said I'm sorry."

"For what?" Natasha asked warily.

Percy mumbled again and Annabeth leaned in, trying to catch the words.

"I shot Nico."

It was barely more than a whisper,  but it was there. She pulled him into a hug.

"It's okay. He's fine, see?"

Nico shoved Will off as the other man tried to keep him still and limped carefully over to the blank eyed boy.

Percy stared at him as if expecting to be struck. Nico grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him into a hug as well.

"I know you shot me. I forgive you. Taking orders can be the easy way out sometimes and you can't fault someone with amnesia."

He pulled away and smiled up at the raven haired ex-assassin.

"We'll fix you. I swear on the Styx."

[A/N Yay chapter! I'm going back to school later this week so the time between updates will probably lengthen more than it already is. Sorry!]
