"Alright, he's dusty. So lets get some of those cobwebs out." Apollo announced after a few minutes of muttering and asking questions.

"And how do you suppose we do that?" Hecate asked, sarcasm dripping from her words and informing Apollo that he was once again being Captain obvious.

"I'm not sure yet."

"Well then you better start thinking."

"But that's Athena's job!"

"Enough!" Athena interrupted the two gods' squabbling.

Poseidon rolled his eyes.

"Do you need to look at my memories?"

They looked at him.

"I thought you didn't have any."

"I have a few. Maybe if you dug around..."

He trailed off.

He'd just offered full access of his mind to four gods.

Was this a good idea?

He wanted his memories back.

This was the way to do it.

"You'll let us do that?"

"Yes."

Apollo moved forward.

"But-"

He stopped.

"I want Athena to do it."

The goddess stared at him.

"Me?"

"Yes."

"Why? Son, Apollo is a healer, he may be more accustomed-"

"It has to be Athena."

He stood his ground.

Athena stepped forward slowly.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Alright then..."

Apollo backed up to let the goddess work.

"Poseidon, your powers are strongest here. It would be better if he was sitting."

His father made a chair appear.

"Sit."

He nodded and did as Athena said.

"I don't know if this will hurt or not, it depends on how deep I have to go into your mind."

"Please, Lady Athena. I need them back."

"Them?"

"The memories. The ideas."

He looked up at her.

"I need what makes me me to come back."

Athena smiled sadly.

"I will do my best, Perseus."

"Percy."

He corrected her on instinct.

Athena chuckled.

"You're already coming back."

"Am I?"

"Yes. Your attitude is there. It's rather fascinating how someone can scoop out the person but leave the abilities-"

"Athena."

She looked to Poseidon.

"My apologies. Are you ready, Percy?"

He nodded.
