    "Are you sure that you want to go through with this?" David asked, trying to talk Chloe out of her plan. She nodded and stared at the front door.

    "It's the only way," Chloe took a deep breath and then ran forward before pounding on the door vigorously. David sat back down in the living room with the others as she made her outburst. Nothing happened, so Chloe started grabbed pictures that were hanging on the wall and throwing them to the floor, shattering the glass frame. The only one she left alone was the picture with the rules on the back; she thought it was best for them to keep that one in case it was someone other than her who returned.

    She entered the kitchen and emptied the cabinets, throwing it all into a pile on the floor. The front door burst open and then Chloe looked to the men entering the room and Jacob sneaking out once their backs were turned towards the door. After he was out of sight, Chloe raised her hands in defeat and sighed, staring at the mess she had made. David caught her gaze on her way out, fear of the unknown covered his and her faces.
