Nas POV
"Alright, yall wrap it up with some up and downs then we gon be done for today." The coach yelled then blew his whistle.
We did about four more up and downs on the field then started to make our way into the locker room.
"Aye you still talking to that shorty who's number I got for you." Devin ask sitting next to me on the bench.
"You talking about Ky sister?"
"Yeah."
I put my head down. "I don't know."
"She stopped because she found out it was you?"
I faced him. "Wassup man why you asking me all these questions? What's your deal?"
He put his hands up in a surrender position. "Hey, I just wanted to know if you need me to put in a good word for you."
I chuckled and shook my head. "I'm good man."
"Alright then I guess I'll get back at you later."
I nodded then dapped him up.
Finally looking up I realized that it was me, Kyren and a few other boys left. I got up and started walking in Ky's direction. I figured that it was time we put a stop to all this foolishness and be boys and talk it out the way it should be.
"Yo can we talk for a minute?"
He looked me up and down." I ain't got nothing to say to you."
"Why-"
"Because you keep tryna fuck my sister." He shouted an slammed his locker.
The few guys that were there turned their attention to us. The coach even walked out to see what was going on.
"Hall and Wilson, do we have a problem?"
We both shook our head no. He went back into his office after giving us a look of disbelief.
"Man ain't nobody tryna fuck your sister." I defended myself.
"Then she keep ending up at your house alone."
I stayed silent because I really couldn't answer that.
"Exactly, therefore I ain't got shit else to say to you man."
He started to pick up his bag and leave but I stopped him in his tracks.
"Listen man, I don't know why ever since you found out that I've talked to your sister you been bugging but that's not gonna stop anything Ky because I still like her. I don't understand why that has to be a problem, you act like I'm gon dog her-"
"I don't know what projects you do with your girls but you ain't trying it with my sis." He shouted.
I looked at him like he was crazy. When have he ever known me to dog out some female. Even the ones I didn't like I treated them with the same respect I would as any other girl.
"Kyren you know I ain't like that."
"That's what they all say." He rolled his eyes.
"Well I'm not them and I figured after all these years of us being friends more like brothers you would trust me. I'm not out to hurt your sister man, that's one thing I can bet my life on. Trust me." I held out my hand waiting for him to shake it.
He stared at me for a good minute before shaking his head.
"The next time I catch the two of yall alone together I'm kicking both of yall ass." He shook my hand but only for a second.
