"ALRIGHT CLASS. QUIET DOWN," Mr. Sycamore's holler echoed across the room, causing the class to immediately go silent.

Nodding his head in approval, he made his way to the front of the room. He tapped his foot impatiently as the last bit of chatter subsided. He seemed to be in a bad mood—not that he ever wasn't. Serena looked out the window.

Throughout the day, she had been burdened with the new title 'top student otaku' thanks to a certain heartthrob. Now she has to put up with the teacher with the worst temper in the whole school? The honey haired girl sighed heavily.

Hopefully, she would be able to finish class in peace.

"Today," he started, "we are going to learn about dissecting. You will get a chance to try to do it with a pair later on, so shut your loud mouths and listen to my lesson, alright?"

Boom. Dead silence.

"WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING? DO YOU KNOW WHAT MANNERS ARE?!" Mr. Sycamore slammed his hand on the desk, nearly making a dent on the surface.

Serena shuddered while Dawn gulped beside her. Mr. Sycamore jerked his head up with a deadly glare, sending goosebumps down everyone's spine. It was quite ironic, if she were to say so herself. Everything he said was always the most paradoxical out of the paradox. One moment he's telling them to be quiet, and the next he's asking why nobody's answering. The honey blonde students shook her head.

Ridiculous.

"YES SIR!" The class shouted in unison.

Mr. Sycamore yanked a pencil out of his pocket and flipped open the attendance. One by one, he called out the students' names. The shy ones would get screamed at, for he thought they were being lazy. The loud ones would get scolded at for being too loud. Nothing would happen when he called Serena's name because she was the principal's daughter.

She was thankful for that, at least.

"GARY OAK!" Mr. Sycamore shouted, everyone waited quietly as a hand was lazily lifted from one of the seats.

"Yo," Gary said with a smile.

"Psst," Dawn nudged her elbow, and Serena slightly turned her head. Dawn took a glimpse of Gary, who sat behind their row.

"Gary is Ash's best friend, right?"

Serena simply nodded.

Gary Oak. Age 15. Male. Mahogany spiky hair, pierced ears, chained necklace, athletic body structure, and he had the word 'playboy' written all over him.

Gary dated approximately 90% of the girls in the school, and dumped every single one of them. He got quite the infamous reputation. But even after all he's done, he still have a fan-club following him around every day. Serena and Dawn shook their heads in unison.

Unbelievable.

On the other hand, Ash Ketchum, Pokémon Academy's famous heartthrob, had never dated anybody before. Even with girls chasing him around everyday, and that carefree personality of his, he still manage to not get into a single love relationship. Serena respected that part of him.

But hated the rest of him.

"ASH KETCHUM!" As the biology teacher called out Ash's name, Serena's head perked up from the table. She never noticed that the raven haired student was in the same class as her. How displeasing.
