The halls were empty and it was silent to the point where it gave off an eerie vibe.

However, that tranquil atmosphere was abruptly disturbed as a certain honey blond girl dashed through the halls, a group of loud footsteps following behind her. Serena snuck a glance behind her.

It's only the early morning, but it had already started.

The hallway had never looked long before, it was interminable. Chills ran up her spine as she felt the sharp blood lusting gazes behind her, and she ran faster. If looks can kill, she would have been dead already.

Making a sharp turn at the next hallway intersection, she nimbly snuck inside the janitor closet as all the hysterical predators that had been chasing her ran past.

Just as Serena was about to sigh in relief she realized that there was another presence in the closet. The figure cupped his hand over her mouth before she could scream in surprise. Her vision focused on the raven haired boy who was behind her.

"Shh, it's me!" Ash whispered in exasperation. Serena blushed at the sight of the heartthrob, and motion him to put his hand down.

After they made sure that the hallway was clear, the two toppled out of the janitor's closet.

"Why were you hiding?" The raven haired boy asked as he stretched out his arms.

"Well, isn't it obvious?" Serena threw her arms up in defeat. "Why were you hiding?"

"It's my daily routine to run away from yandere fangirls," Ash said as if it was something to be proud of, causing Serena to sweat drop.

"Ever since the basketball tournament, every day I've been chased by your fan club, with such murderous instincts that if I didn't run, I would of probably be dead by now." She sighed. "It feels like I'm in a horror movie."

"Thanks," Ash rolled his eyes. "That's what I have to go through every day."

Serena shuddered. "If that's what it takes to be the main character, I'd rather be a Passerby A forever. And that's all thanks to your confession that the whole school knows now."

"It's because I wanted everyone to know my feelings towards you," he replied, and the honey blonde blushed at his bluntness.

For a few seconds, two just looked at each other, and Ash suddenly crouched over, rubbing his hands by his arms. Serena stared at him in confusion.

"My own comment is making me cringe. I'm getting the goosebumps." He stated, and Serena couldn't help but giggle. The boy just smiled and ruffled her hair.

"Dawn and Gary wanted to talk about something," he said. "We should go to them."

The honey haired girl nodded. Suddenly, a girl came by the hallway and the three made contact.

There was a three second silence between them.

"THERE THEY ARE!" She exclaimed and a hoard of people appeared behind her and started running towards Ash and Serena.

Serena immediately spun around and was about to run when Ash pulled her back by the waist.

"Don't worry, I got this," he winked.
