Saturday.

Kaya

Getting up from my slumber, I was excited to go to my parent's banquet tonight.

I haven't really been spending time with them lately, but I just felt I needed to be on my own for a while.

I gave princess to my neighbor to watch her while I'm out and I really missed her.

Getting up, I went to the bathroom and did my hygiene and my hair.

My doorbell rung and I quickly went to the door, not really expecting any company.

Opening the door, I seen August.

He looked horrible. Bags were under his eyes, his hair didn't look like he did anything to it, but in his right hand he held white roses.

"What are you doing here August?" I said folding my arms.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

I shook my head. "No."

He sighed. "Can I at least talk ta ya Kay."

"You can't call me that anymore." I said.

"Please." He pleaded.

"You got 15 minutes. I have plans." I said letting him inside.

I cursed to myself because I wasn't wearing shorts that really covered my ass and I felt his eyes staring at it.

I turned around facing him and he quickly looked up.

"Dese fa you." He said handing me the flowers.

I took them out of his hand and he sat down on the couch.

"Well?"
