"Which is worse, ask her and get rejected or never ask her which she could have accepted?"
- Halcyon EvenfallThe other night was tragic. I couldn't
even sleep properly and I even had a
nightmare about it. When I woke up
from my bed, I thought about trying
to ask her again because last time
wasn't really smooth. Even my
roommate, told me that she said it
was really awkward talking with me.
How on earth am I supposed to be
ready from something like that. My
mind went blank when she smiled at
me of course it's not everyday
someone like her comes my way I
couldn't have think of any response.
But this time it's different.
After Aikido training. I watch my
other roommate training basketball. I
was waiting for her to finish her
training in taekwondo. I was
rehearsing of how am I supposed to
ask her. It kinda felt like I'm going to
ask her out but my motive was just to
ask her to train with me since I
needed flexibility and kick training.
I tried to watch her train and when I
was watching her, they decided to jog
around the mat. Everytime she gets
close, my heart beats really fast like it
was about to explode then when she
goes far, it goes back to normal then
she suddenly got close, It felt like a
heart attack was coming.
Thirty minutes has passed they
decided to end their training session.
Oh am I so nervous! She was talking
to her fellow taekwondo practitioners
and I decided to approach her. Every
step felt like I am going to go off
balance. I can hear my heart slowly
pounding but gets faster and louder as
I went closer every step. Then when I
was close enough, she noticed me and
looked at me with a beautiful smile.
I thought I was going to have a
cardiac arrest that time for real! My
mind had gone blank again. She
looked at me and I took the initiative
to talk to her first. I asked her for a
spare time to talk to her and she
separated herself from her friends.
I apologized to her about my
behaviour last time and I introduced
myself to her. Somehow she was a
little impressed from my introduction
and I told her what sensei and I
noticed about her. I told her how we
are impressed with her form and her
executions. She was laughing
embarrassedly but flattered. Seeing
her like that... she was very cute.
After that I told her my real motive, to
ask her to train with me. She accepted
my request with no hesitation. I was
really suprised not only because I was
expecting to be rejected since we
don't know each other but because
she didn't ask anything for return. She
told me I could join her train after her
training in taekwondo somehow
made me think that she was really
dedicated in her art.
