Look closer

Maybe if you looked a little closer , you might see the constellations in her eyes.

But if you fixate your gaze on her long enough , you'll realise how broken she is and the reasons why she thinks this world is such a cruel place and how creasing to exist will make no difference to anyone.

Maybe if you listened , you would hear her darkest secrets flow out slowly before the sun sets .

Then , you'll start to learn how tired she was of trying to fill in the empty spaces everyday by herself.

Finally, take a step back and you'll realise it's because of people and how they made her feel, that sucked the sweetness out from her voice and drained the colour from her face.

Then the sun finally sets , leaving her with a blank space.

And she'll disappear once again to fight the demons of the night only to reappear in the morning looking beautiful.
