Photographs and memories

"I love photographs. They remind me of so many things. They remind me of the person I was back then and the people I surrounded myself with. They remind me of what we used to be. They remind me about the lessons I've learnt along the way. They made me recall the broken promises and the disappointment you left me with. They made me realise how many people left my life and how many new ones came in. I enjoy looking at them and spotting which photos has a genuine smile on my face and which doesn't . Most importantly, they serve as a memory that once upon a time I was that person , with different people in the same place with all different stories and intentions.

Between now and then, so much has changed. I wish I could start afresh again."
