The criminal stood up from his crouched position.

"Alright.." Louis groaned, throwing the tape to the side. "Comfortable?"

Harry furrowed his brows, staring up at the dangerous man above him.

Louis sat down in a nearby chair beside the couch, letting out a large sigh as he slouched into the seat.

He pulled out a cigarette from his coat, placing it between his lips.

"Mind if I smoke?" Louis said with sarcasm in his tone.

Harry shook his head. "No."

"Cool."

Louis pulled out a lighter, igniting the cigarette in his mouth.

Smoke filled the room.

"So.. Harold is it?" Louis began, holding the cigarette between his finger tips. "Should we be expecting anyone else tonight?"

"No." Harry shook his head. "I live alone."

"Are you sure?" Louis raised a brow. "I don't like surprises."

"Yes.. I'm sure."

"I'm trusting you, curly." Louis sat back in his chair. "Don't give me a reason not to trust you."

They sat in silence for a few moments before Harry finally broke it.

"Um.. you mentioned the cops were after you." Harry began. "Why?"

"None of your business." Louis groaned under his breath.

"Well.. this is kind of MY house." He cleared his throat.

"Excuse me?" The criminal glared over at him.

"I-It's just that I would really like to get to know the man that I'm gonna be spending the night with.." Harry gulped, waiting for a response.

Louis scoffed at him. "Trust me.. You really don't want to get to know someone like me."

"Well.." Harry raised a brow. "How do you know?"

"Because.. I just do."

"How?"

"I just do, okay!" Louis snapped. "Stop talking if you know what's good for ya!"

Harry flinched at his shouting. He looked down at his bound hands.

"Are you gonna kill me?" Harry mumbled. "I just.. I need to know so I can-"

Louis rubbed his forehead in frustration, interrupting him before he could finish.

"Do you want me to kill you?" Louis asked.

"Um.." Harry bit his lip. "No?"

Louis scrunched his face. "Why did you hesitate.."

Harry shook his head. "I didn't hesitate."

Louis shrugged. "Yeah, you kind of did."

"No I didn't." Harry looked down. "I obviously don't want you to kill me."

"Well.. then I suggest you stop asking so many questions." Louis rolled his eyes. "I don't like questions."

Harry could hear the frustration in the man's voice.

"Alright.." Harry muttered. "I'm sorry."

Louis stood up from his seat, walking over to one of Harry's personal desks. He started rummaging through his papers, putting out his cigarette on one of the envelopes.
