"Blue... You can not be serious," Yellow Diamond sighed as Blue Diamond read a report on humans aloud to her Pearl.

"This is the first time we have had a human on trial, I want to make sure it is as comfortable as possible," Blue Diamond told

"It will be on TRIAL, Blue. It is not supposed to be comfortable," Yellow Diamond reminded

"The human knew not what it had done. I viewed the recording of it destroying a part of the Kindergarten. It was self-defense, Yellow. That Peridot was mere seconds from killing the poor human," Blue Diamond said

"Speaking of that Peridot... I haven't received any updates in quite sometime," Yellow Diamond said

"Yellow! They must return with the human as quickly as possible, they are not prepared or trained to take care of a human!" Blue Diamond hurried

"Blue, calm down. The human will be just fine," Yellow Diamond said, "There is no need to fret over something as silly and pathetic as one human," Yellow Diamond said as she took Blue Diamond's screen and peered at the writing, "How to Comfort a Human... Oh, Blue, please. We don't need to be comforting that human,"

"Yes we do, the human will be no doubt terrified when it arrives,"Blue Diamond said, "Humans fear the unknown. If we do not calm it down, there is no way it will be able to stand in court. Pearl, tell Yellow what you do to comfort a human,"

"Yes, My Diamond," Blue Diamond's Pearl said as she began, Yellow Diamond's Pearl stood next to her, listening intently, "When first approaching a human, you must move slowly and speak softly as so it recognizes you are not a threat. Moving fast will scare it. Once the human is comfortable with the new presence, an effective way of easing the Human's mind is to gently stroke its scalp, arms, and back. All actions must be done slowly and gently or the human will begin to panic. Humans also enjoy-"

"I get the picture," Yellow Diamond cut off abruptly, "Why are you reading the report aloud? Your Pearl can read, can't she?"

"I would like to learn all of this as well," Blue Diamond informed

"Blue, you have more important things to attend to than an insignificant human," Yellow Diamond said

"If the human is so insignificant, why are you bothering with a trial in the first place?" Blue Diamond asked

"Would you rather I just throw the human out of the airlock?" Yellow Diamond questioned aggressively, her Pearl let out a quiet, frightened, squeal at the mere idea.

"Yellow, restrain yourself. You're scaring your own Pearl," Blue Diamond warned

"She always jumps at the mention of this human..." Yellow Diamond murmured, "Am I the only Gem here who is not enthralled by this human?"

"Yellow, you are being dramatic," Blue Diamond said, "A strong ruler must have empathy,"

"I have no empathy for anything from Earth," Yellow Diamond told, "Blue, pull yourself together. You're a Diamond, you must lead. Not wait over a human,"
