The next morning, I woke up to the sound of an angel singing. At least that's what it was in my dream. Have you ever been dreaming, and then something someone was doing in the real world came through into it? Well, that's what happened. I was sleeping, and having a dream. Someone started singing, and my sub-conscience picked up on it, and altered the dream I was having.

I was actually having a nightmare. It wasn't one of those where you're being chased by some psycho with a chainsaw who wants to kill you and use your body parts to make a doll. Those are bad, but at least you know you're asleep. No, I was having a nightmare that seemed so real.

It was dark outside. I couldn't see anything with the inky blackness in front of me. I stood in one spot, trying to see through the darkness.

"Amberlynn?" Some said. I immediately knew who it was. I would know that voice anywhere.

"Niall?" I asked. I looked around, trying to find my best friend, but I couldn't see through the blackness.

"Amberlynn. I need you." He called. His voice didn't sound that far away, but there was an echo, and I couldn't tell exactly where he was.

"Niall, what's wrong?"

"Please, Amberlynn. Help me."

"Okay, I'm coming. Where are you?" I called into the darkness. I waited for him to answer, but his reply never came. "Niall, where are you?" I called again.

"No. Please! AMBERLYNN!" He screamed. The sound made my blood run cold. "Help me, Amberlynn! AHHHH!!"

"Niall, tell me where you are!" His screams filled the darkness, echoing all around me, making it impossible for me to tell where he was.

"AMBERYLNN!" I couldn't just stand here and listen to him scream. I had to do something. I took off running in a random direction, yelling his name was I went, begging him to call me again. He screamed, but it sounded farther away. I was going the wrong direction! I turned, and ran the other way. Again, he screamed, and again it sounded farther away.

"Niall!" Hot tears poured down my face, as I yelled for my best friend. No matter which way I ran, it was the wrong direction. He let one last blood curdling scream, and everything went silent. "Niall! Please! Call me again!" I yelled. No reply came. I kept yelling his name, begging him to answer me, but there was no response. Then I heard a voice.

'Beauty queen of only 18. She, had some trouble with herself.' A very beautiful voice sang. There was a small glowing off in the distance. 'He was always there to help her. She, always belonged to someone else.' The glowing grew closer, as did the voice. 'I drove for miles, and miles, and wound up at your door. I've had you so many times, but somehow I want more!' I noticed that as the glowing came closer, the darkness disappeared as it went, allowing me to see, almost like it was being sucked away by the light. Soon, the glowing light stopped, and the it was just a few feet in front of me. A beautiful boy appeared in front of me.

'I don't mind spending every day, out on your corner in the pouring rain. Look for the girl with the broken smile. Ask her if she wants to stay a while. And she will be loved. And she will be loved.' He sang to me. He was dressed in all white, and had blond hair and blue eyes.

"Niall?" He smiled and kept singing.

'Tap on my window, knock on my door.'

Then the dream disappeared, and I opened my eyes to the soft muted light of Niall's bedroom.

"I want to make you feel beautiful." I rolled over. Niall sat on the bed next to me, and he was singing. He stopped when he saw that I was awake. "Hi." He said.
