--A few months later--

Where is it? I thought to myself. I was frantically searching for my pretzels. My last bag. Niall had sent Harry out to get more pretzels and gummy worms to restock my fridge. I picked my pillow up off my bed, grunting in frustration, and throwing it across the room when they weren't there. I dropped to my knees beside my bed, lifting up the covers, and looked underneath it. They weren't there.

I climbed to my feet, looking around my pigsty of a room. I had turned my room upside down looking for my pretzels. I had searched every place I could inside this room, but they weren't in here. I walked out my door, ran down the stairs, and into the kitchen. I looked through the cabinets, pushing things out of my way.

Crunch crunch. "Amberlynn?" Crunch crunch. "What are you doing?" I turned around to see Louis standing on the other side of the bar, my bag of pretzels in one hand, a single pretzel in the other. My eyes widened. "You okay?" He asked, biting off half of the pretzel.

"Louis!" I yelled, and launched myself over the bar, reaching for the bag. It made a crinkling noise as my hand closed around the top of the bag. He fell to the floor with a loud thump, and I jerked the bag from his grasp before rolling off of him.

"What the heck?" He asked.

"They're my pretzels! Mine!" I said, hugging the bag to my chest.

"I just want a few!" He said, reaching for my pretzels. I crawled away from him. He looked at me, and started moving slowly towards me. I climbed to my feet quickly, and tried to run away, but Louis grabbed my legs, and tackled me to the ground. I started crawling, pushing at him with my feet, and trying desperately to keep my pretzels away from him as he reached for them.

"Get off me!" I cried, reaching back with my other hand, pushing against his face.

"Just give me some pretzels!"

"No!" The two of us continued wrestling over the pretzels, pushing against each other, and shouting. "Let go! You can't have my pretzels!"

"Stop being so stingy!"

"They're mine!"

"Amber, just-"

"No! Leave me alone! Let me go!" I shrieked.

"Lou, leave my girlfriend alone." A soft Irish voice said. We stopped struggling, and looked up. Niall stood next to the couch, looking down at us. He was bare chested, and wearing swimming trunks. Louis let go of me. "Come on, Babe." Niall said, holding his hand out to me. I put my hand in his, and he helped me up, pulling me into a hug. My hands clasped together around his back, and his hands rested lightly on my waist, just above my hips.

I smiled as he kissed my forehead, and buried his face in my hair, tucking his head in the crook of my neck.

"Hello, beautiful." He whispered. I smiled wider, and he pulled away to look at me.

"Hi," I said quietly.

"So, what are you two fighting over?" Niall asked, wrapping his arm around my neck, and pulling me into his side, looking between me and Louis.

"He stole my pretzels." I said, wrapping my arm around his waist.

"I just wanted a few!" Louis said stubbornly. "I thought she was going to kill me! She flew over the bar at me like a freaking spider monkey! I mean, they're just pretzels!"

"My pretzels! And maybe It wouldn't have been as bad if it wasn't my last bag, and maybe if you had asked."

"I did ask!"

"No, you didn't! You started eating them without asking, and then you told me to give you some after I took them back."

"Exactly! I asked you." He said.

"There's a big difference between 'can I have some' and 'give me some.' A big difference!" Niall chuckled.

"You two fight like brother and sister." He said.

"We practically are." Louis said, and grinned at me. I grinned back, and he held his arms out to me. I pulled away from Niall, and walked into Louis, giving him a sisterly hug. He patted my back as he hugged me. When he pulled away, I stepped back to Niall, and he wrapped his arm around my waist.

I smiled, thinking back to that night almost four months ago. After I said yes to Niall, he pulled me onto the dance floor. Technically, we were just hugging each other, and swaying back and forth.

"I'm glad Louis told me the truth, Amber. If he hadn't, this wouldn't be happening." I smiled.

"I'm glad he did too." And then my eyes widened. "Oh, crap!" I exclaimed, pulling away. Niall looked at me, confused. "Louis! Where is he?"

"Outside, I think. Why?"

"I'm sorry. I'll be right back. I have to fix things." I kissed him gently, and pulled out of his arms, before running out the door. I spotted Louis' retreating back, and ran towards him. "Louis!" I yelled when I was almost to him. He turned around, and looked at me. I plowed into him, wrapping my arms tightly around him. He staggered backwards, but didn't fall.

"Amber are you okay?" He asked. I hugged him tighter.

"I'm sorry, Louis! I'm so sorry! I take it back. You didn't do anything wrong. Please forgive me, Louis. If you hadn't told him, he would have never known, and he would've never asked me to be his girlfriend. I'm happier now than I've ever been, and it's all because of you. Please forgive me. I'm sorry." I felt his arms wrap around me, and press me tighter into him.

"It's okay." He said. "Don't apologize. You had every right to be mad."

"No, I didn't. You were trying to help, and I was a jerk to you."

"I shouldn't have said anything to him."

"Yes, you should have! I shouldn't have reacted that way."

"Let's just agree to disagree, okay?" He asked, pulling me back slightly to look at me.

"Okay." I smiled.

"Now let's get you back in there. Your boyfriend awaits." He said. I grinned up at him, and let go. He led me back into the building where Niall waited for me, smiling when he saw Louis by my side, and the smile on my face. Niall put his arm around me, and held me close the rest of the night.

The memory of that night disappeared, and I was brought back into the living room, a smile on my face. Louis and Niall stared at me.

"Are you okay?" Louis asked. I nodded.

"Just thinking about that amazing night almost four months ago when everything changed." Niall smiled and kissed my cheek. I smiled.

So, in the end, my ex boyfriend became my best friend, and my best friend became my boyfriend. And my enemy? Well, she stayed my enemy, and I'm sure we haven't seen the last of her.

The end....
