May 04, 2014. A choir of roosters crowed for the daybreak. followed by a church bell tolled for the early morning mass. Ren and Ynes peddled Manang Abe's breads around the neighborhood at daybreak for their summer earnings. The two had a chit-chat as they drove back to the bakery with their sidecar.

"I thought you guys won't be able to kill the boss last night!" Ynes wore a wide grin, then she tapped Ren's right shoulder, "I bet your papa didn't call at that time?"

"Nope, he didn't call us. He's probably too tired from work overseas." He peeked at her smiling face, with his eyebrows raised, "And did you just read my email message?"

She shrugged her shoulders, "Sorry, if I ever took a peek on your email"

He sighed, "Back to the game, it's awkward that how could those two knew me so soon!"

"Who are those two, Rene-boy?" she counted their earnings from her fanny pack.

"Sirius and FranZetta, those guys who attacked us before." he said.

His old but solid blue cellphone rang from the pocket of his maroon jersey shorts. Is it mom again?

"Ren, mind if I drive this time?" she winked at him, "Go ahead and answer the phone, Rene-boy!"

The two switched seats, then he answered the phone. "Son, papa called today. He'll call us through your Cloudtalk at 8" Desiree said to him.

"I got it, mama. We'll be right there" He hanged up.

The two parked the sidecar back in the garage, and handed their earnings to the plumb, jolly owner herself, Manang Abe. The bakery owner handed their summer salaries, and let them leave the bakery.

Ren's head ached, and sweated a river as he noticed Derek descended from their tenement. In his brown eyes, he saw five ghastly tricycles, driven by fatigue-dressed skeletons with assault rifles, drove over holographic representation of Derek. I can't forgive you right now.

Ynes tapped his shoulders, "Oi Ren! Let's go home!" His ghastly visions faded in a flash, and they walked back to their flats straight-faced.

Desiree prepared their buttery fried sunny-side up egg sandwiches, as Ren logged onto Cloudtalk through his desktop computer. As they waited for their father's call, he directed the legged webcam to his face. All right, the camera's set!

His computer rang a short melody, and a small dialog box with his father's face displayed on the left. Papa Carlito is calling! Three options appeared below: [Answer with Voice] , [Answer with Video], [Hang up].

He clicked the second option and two windows appeared side-by-side on his screen. One for his dad's webcam, and for their webcam.

"Hi sonny! Papa here!" his father waved his hands. "Where's mama?"

"Hello papa!" he waved his hands in front of his webcam. "How are you there in Australia?"

"Oh well, a bit stressful that I have to eat a bread of this size once a week." Carlito ate a large sandwich —filled with tender sliced turkey, a sliced cheddar, three slices of juicy tomatoes, and some spinach leaves— in front of the camera.

Ren's mother, Desiree, came to his room and showed their egg sandwich in front of their webcam, "Anyway, here's our breakfast, Papa!"

As they presented their breakfast, the aroma of freshly-fried, buttery sunny side-up eggs ruled over Ren's bedroom. "Wait, what are you doing there, papa?" Desiree asked.
