Ara had gone back to her common room and went straight to her dorm room,Bree and Alena were sitting by the fire doing their homework and did not notice their friend tip toeing her way upstairs.
Ara went to sleep with tears streaming down her face.
The next morning when she woke up everyone was excited for the first Quidditch match of the year.She woke up to the sound of Bree and Alena arguing
"We are not going to Fred and George to get back at Cedric for Ara"Alena whispers harshly"Are you trying to get everyone detention?"
"But she was so upset and he was...leading her on"Bree answers back"He need to understand that you can't do that to a girl and then not expect...punishment"
Ara almost laughed at Bree,Almost.
Alena sighs"I'm sure Professor Snape will do something about him,He looked like he was going to kill Cedric when he got back to the great hall"
"Fine!"Bree says"I go ask them without you"Ara hears her walk out then Alena sigh something like"Expelled"And the run out behind Bree
Ara sits up and stretches to Cloud meowing on he bed beside her
"Morning"Ara mumbles as she makes her way to the bathroom.
She had gotten ready and was on her way to breakfast when she bumped into Cedric at the bottom of the stairs,He had dark circles under his eyes and he looked slightly upset,Even while mad at him Ara felt her heart clench
"Sorry Cedric"Ara mumbles while looking down
Unexpectedly Cedric pulls her in a hug
Ara's eyes widen"Uh what are you doing?"She keeps her hands at her sides still shocked
"I was worried!He ran out of the dinner lastnight and I heard someone say you were crying"Cedric says as he lets her go"Are you ok?"
Ara raises an eyebrow trying to bite her tounge but it comes out anyways"Why do you look so bad?"
"I couldn't sleep last night,The guys in the dorm where up until dawn"Cedric rolls his eyes but something in the back of Ara's head was telling her that was a lie
"Uhm...Well bye"Ara walks out of the common room but Cedric follows
"Well are you ok?"
"Much better"Ara says
Don't look at him,Don't look at him,For the love of Merlin don't look at him!
"Are you sure?"Cedric sighs
"YES!"Ara snaps at him in a harsh voice
Ara turns to him and regrets it to see hurt cross his face,You bloody idiot you looked at him!She scowls herself"Ugh,Sorry I'm just...not in a good mood"
"It's...alright"Cedric says"Shall we walk to the hall together"
Ara bits her lip"Sure"
They walk in a slightly awkward silence.
When they got their and walked in together,Bree and Alena where scowling at him and Severus looked like he was going to kill one of them,Ara walks over to her friends"Morning"
"Why where you walking with him?Bree asks
"He walked with me"She says"I'll see you guys in glass I think I'm going to sit with Fred and George"She looks to Bree and winks as she walks over and walks behind the twins
"Morning boys"
They both jump and turn around"Bloody Hell Ara,You scared us"Fred grins as him and George slide away from eachother so Ara could sit between them
"How do you feel?"George asks"We heard you got pretty messed from the troll"
Ara grins"I'm fine,You should see the troll"
Fred and George grin"Well you see-"Fred starts
"We were going to plan a prank and-"George adds
"Would love for you to help"And Fred Finishes
Ara gets a smirk on her face
"Uh-oh little Ara Snape is getting an idea"Fred teases
"I have just the target for you boys"Ara grins
As they were eating and discussing their prank Aisling sits across from them
"Your late"Ara points out
"Over slept"Aisling sighs"What were you guys whispering about?"
"A prank"Ara grins"I need some revenge and these two are going to help"
"Oh"
"Want in"The three of them ask Aisling at the same time
"I don't want to get into any trouble you know"
"You won't!"Ara grins"You can be our look out or help us plan!You won't get caught trust me"
"Okay..."She agree's reluctantly
At the teachers table Primrose was praticly falling asleep in her food
"Are you ok Evans?"Severus scowls at her keeping up his act
"Hm?Yeah the sleeping potion didn't work lastnight,Not strong enough"Primrose sighs and sits up"Sorry what where you saying before?"
"I asked if you talked to Ara"
"Yeah,We talked,She said she was fine"Primrose says"She's a girl Snape,She gets emotional sometimes"She says in a teasing voice"Would you mind this Christmas if I took Ara to see Diana?"
"It will be good for her"Severus agrees"She hasn't seen her in years"
"Now don't get upset,But I want her to see Sirius"
