Chapter 26

((Jeff's POV))

LJ and I spent the entire day looking for any trace of Y/N,but unfortunately we were unlucky..

Night time had fallen upon us already,we stopped at a near by park and LJ sat on the bench sighing heavily.

I walked over towards a patch of trees and I gathered a few small sticks,I then walked over to where LJ was and I placed the sticks in a pile as I lit them on fire.

I then sat next to LJ and I gently placed my hand on his shoulder,he looked over at me with a serious expression as I just sighed.

Don't worry Jack,we'll find her.
I said smiling tenderly.

He scuffed at my words as he clenched his fists ever so slightly.

Fuuuuck....
He whispered under his breath as he covered his face.

What's on your mind Jack?
I asked raising an eyebrow.

I feel so dumb,how could I let this happen to her...
He said growling angrily.

Jack no one is perfect,we all make mistakes..
I said reassuring him.

He moved his hands to the back of his head as he let out a heavy sigh.Somethings quite off here..I can feel it..

Jack...why are you so worried?
I said tilting my head.

Because there is something you don't know about Y/N...
He said as he straitened up.

And that is?
I asked narrowing my eyes slightly.

Y/N..has some history with Puppeteer..
He said looking away from me.

I looked at him blankly as I didn't understand what he meant,he growled annoyed as he looked over at me.

Long story short Puppeteer and her were a thing...
He said slightly gagging.

I patted his back slightly and I sighed..

How do you know?
I asked raising an eyebrow.

He took a moment and he looked down at the ground,he sighed heavily before he looked back at me.

Because...I'm the one who broke them up..
He said bluntly.

I stared at him blankly as I processed his words,he growled annoyed as he looked at me firmly.

Why?
I asked tilting my head.

It was a job thing..but before I took her away..Puppeteer found something to make Y/N happy..
He said bluntly.

I stayed silent as looked at him..he sighed and continued to speak.

Puppeteer created Emra,she may look like a puppet but..she is half human.
He said growling annoyed.

How is that even possible?
I asked confused.

He actually used Y/N's blood and a bit of her hair to creat Emra..
He said scuffing.

Wait a minute...tell me you are not saying what I think you are saying..
I said looking at him with widened eyes.

...Emra is Y/N's daughter...
