Here I am
Having survived
The day I feared so much
And I remember
How I told myself
I would write you
Something amazingly beautiful
But only one word
Was constantly coming
Back to my mind
As if it haunted me
And it still does
When I try to write you
A beautiful poem
Carrying all of
My cherished feelings for you
Silence
Silence is all
I can think of
And I cannot help
But to compare it
To the insides of my head
Where everything
Is constantly bustling around
Sounds buzzing from
Every remote corners
Of my twisted mindHow I wish silence
Was something
I could obtain—
Me voilà
J'ai survécue
À cette journée que j'appréhendais tellement
Et je me souviens
De comment je me disais
Que je t'écrirais
Quelque chose d'incroyablement beau
Mais seul un mot
Revenait constamment
À mon esprit
Comme s'il me hantait
Et il le fait toujours
Lorsque j'essaie de t'écrire
Un beau poème
Comportant tout
Mes sentiments chéris pour toi
Silence
Le silence est tout
Ce que je peux penser à
Et je ne peux m'empêcher
De le comparer
À l'intérieur de ma tête
Où tout
Est constamment animé
Des sons bourdonnants provenant
De chaque coins reculés
De mon esprit torduComme je souhaite que le silence
Soit quelque chose
Que je pourrais obtenir
