"Mom?" "Yes Lexi?" she closes her eyes. "Could I stay home this week, I don't really feel like going to school.." "Well.. Just today. I promise you, you won't have to go for two weeks, if it doesn't go well. Okay?" "Okay. Thanks mom.. I love you" "I love you too now go get ready for school." she goes in her room to get dressed. "Hmm. What should I wear today?" she looks in her closet and grabs a tanktop and a pair of jeans. "A cardigan would go good with this, I think." she comes out of her room a couple of minutes later. "Mom! I'm ready. I think I'm gonna go now. But I'll need money for lunch before I leave." She says as she comes up the stairs. "Okay sweetie. Um.. Here's $20. I think that'd be enough. Right?" she puts it in her pocket. "Yeah. Perfect." "Okay see you after school.. Or. something."
