I finished getting ready for the show as Finn knocked on the door "you ready Mama? Duck?" Finn asked only opening the door a little bit not enough to even put his head through the door "you can come in I'm fully clothed" "Oh ok your on in a few minutes" He said coming in the room. I said getting finished with my makeup which was only lipstick and eyeshadow "there I'm done" I said walking out to backstage waiting to be called "and now the entertainment for tonight Ms. Brooke Anders" Arthur said as I walked out in my dress and got ready for the first song called no Lady

Johns point of view:
I saw Brooke go up on stage she looks so beautiful in that flapper dress. She brightens up the room with that smile of hers

She's so beautiful, she doesn't want me I'm just that little kid who chased her around she probably only sees me as that same little kid I'm not like that anymore. I'm a grown I man. I'm much more mature than I used to be I've been in love with her for years I just didn't think her and Tommy would get together at all. I just wish she could see the man I've become and not the boy she once knew me as. but I'll have to keep trying harder to prove myself to her that I am a real man now. I continue watching her performance her voice was perfect, it was as if she were an angel, sent from the heavens above by God himself. Perfect everything, smile, eyes, golden heart, laugh you name it, she's got it all and all was going well till Arthur had put his hand on my shoulder
Arthur: "careful John or you might just get heartbroken, I hear she has a new man in her life, his name is Theodore Gold. He's Abrahamian golds youngest son he's over there by the bar. Don't do anything stupid, he's not here for trouble so behave and don't start anything." Arthur told me He knew that I would get jealous, that I would go over there and try to tell this Theodore guy to stay away from Brooke. I'm not even sure he knows if it's true or not that she's really dating this guy or if it's all rubbish. I'll admit I'm jealous but I had to think of how Brooke was going to take it, if she actually does know this guy and is actually dating him that could ruin my chances of being with her. Not to mention that any man would be jealous of somebody else who's with a woman who's as beautiful as she is. Instead, I kept my mouth shut stayed where I was and enjoyed the rest of her performance glaring a few times at him.

Brooke's p.o.v. I continued to sing and perform for a good few hours till it was time to bartend I took a bow as Finn helped me down off the stage and I squeal a little gigging, also getting straight to work, serving drinks for everyone in the bar who was of age. I was serving drinks doing as I told wiping down the bar after somebody had drunkenly spilled a drink all over as I heard a familiar voice that I never thought I'd hear ever again "Excuse me miss but Do you have any of the best Irish whiskey in this bar?" the man said as I turned around to see My old friend Theodore Gold we went to school together in America after his father sent him there to live with his mother "My, my Theodore Gold it's been a long time since I last saw you last time I saw you I believe we were teenagers around that time when we were cutting class just to get away from the teachers that we hated" I giggled handing him a glass of our best Irish whiskey "Yes Brooke I believe it has been a long time since we last saw each other you look amazing" he said smiling a bit grabbing my hand and kissing it sweetly I smiled small blushing a bit cheeks going a bit red "how have you been?" he asked me taking a drink of the whiskey "I'm good moved back here to help my uncle with the bakery and what about you? you certainly bulked-up since the last time I saw you" I smiled putting away the bottle of whiskey serving other customers as they came and go "I've been training with Bonnie for a few years now been doing a couple of my own matches my mother wasn't too happy about it but she knew she couldn't stop me from doing it so she decided to support me and being a boxer just like my older brother" His older brother Bonnie who is really his half-brother, Bonnie's mother died years after having his two sisters a few years later after his mother's death his father remarried another Romani Gypsy woman and then they had Theodore about two and a half years later "I can tell it's finally paid off you don't look too bad yourself" I said flirting with him a little but continuing to wipe down the bar ¨Let me buy you a drink for old times sake" he offers with a bright smile on his face ¨I can't Theodore and you know that I'm working, you know of all people that I never drink while I'm working¨ I told him ¨Oh that's right so it's been so many years we haven't spent any time together forgotten that you never drink while working a shift" he said finishing is whiskey paying and then getting up" we should talk more often we could start by tomorrow going to that little restaurant down the block that you love so much my treat" he said giving his world famous bright smile I smiled happily shaking my head yes "yeah I'd agree I'd love to do that" I smiled blushing a bit ¨Great see you tomorrow at 9 is Good?" he asked and I told him "yeah that would be perfect see you then" I said as I took the money from him and put it in the cash box "wonderful I'll see you then" and I nod confirming it as he smiled then left and I went on my break
