Fall asleep
Fall asleep
I can't
I'm thinking of dreams
That don't want to come
I'm thinking hard
Of something that'll distract me from the thought that's not allowing me to fall asleep
I feel like 20 minutes passed
I wonder how long my sleepless night will last
It's dark
And I'm waiting for morning
So that I don't have to force dreams on my head
Recently the night before I ask God to help me fall asleep
I didn't want another day of a sleepless night
So I prayed when I felt like I couldn't sleep
"Heavenly father, help me fall asleep. Help me erase all my fears. Help me have a dream that I could dream."
Word for word it wasn't like that but that was the concept of that prayer
I woke up
It was bright and shinning
After that prayer I slept throughout
I woke up smiling
What God did for me he could do for you too.
So when you're unable to sleep
Pray to God as he help you sleep like a sheep
