You left me so I could feel the pain
But instead of a negative brain, I felt strong
I survived without you, I made you wrong,
You said that I would never leave you
Guess who turned into something new,
It's the opposite now
How?
I feel strong, you feel weak
You feel low, and I no longer feel like a freak,
Like you called me
I was able to go through
Without you,
Because I knew I had more chances
Because then he came and set me free
He found the keys to the chain
The chain I was tied in by you
He knew
What I was going through,
He looked into my eyes
And was able to understand why I felt like a broken stand,
He understood
Why I was hiding under the hood,
He knew why I looked sad all the time
He read in between the lines,
And planned to help me
That was where he found the key,
The key to unlock my chains
So that I could feel relieved
He made me understand
That there is more in life that awaits
Rather than remembering those old sad dates,
He helped me escape
From my sad and violent thoughts
And helped me erase the memories from those spots...
