The two teens stared at there parents in disbelief of there decision, I mean if I was in there place I probably would just get the hell out of there but oh well 

Anyways 

Y/N was not sure if this was just some stupid joke since Ethel looked older then her by 3 or more years and she was still 13, surely there was a misunderstanding right? 

Mr.L/N released a sigh before giving the shocked teens an explanation on the situation at hand that is after they are properly seated, and thus the L/N's and the Sūgaku's went to the living room and ate snacks with tea while Mr.L/N explained 

"you see...*sighs* it has become a tradition to our family that when the eldest or only child is a girl then the parent has to decide on who the child should be married to" he explained before drinking his tea "but Mr.L/N, why must the parent chose on who the girl should love?" Mwempa asked curiosity lacing her voice "well its to make sure that the female child could be provided with shelter and great hospitality and not treated like trash,but it was not always this way, now was it Sev?" Ziana or Mrs.Sūgaku asked Sev with a sad smile on her face 

Y/N looked in between her father and Ziana before asking in sheer Curiosity "Not always this way? Why? What happened father?" her father again release a sigh before answering "well, you see my dearest daugther a long time ago when the L/N family lived at london in the Victorian Era in the 1898 

*Story Time*

"my great great grandmother Violeta Paidion L/N fell in love with a commoner and as much as it was forbiden for noble to love a commoner Violeta's brother and only family Earl Azur Paidion L/N supported his sister's wishes and helped her with getting married to the commoner and move to smaller house away from there manor due to the commoner's wishes, years later Violeta had a child with the commoner and it seems that they have been living good lately, that is, until Azur saw the scars on his sister's arms and legs that Violeta desperately tried to hide, he also notice the bags under her eyes and when he asked Violeta how she got her scars...she only dropped to her knees...and cried, she cried and told her brother about the abuse that her so called husband did to her, apparently after her husband found out that they weren't gonna be getting any money from the family he started cheating on her in which she caught him doing, when she confront him about it he only screamed at her before beating her up, it pained Azur to know that the person he thought loved his sister...only wanted her money, and when he found out he couldn't get any...he started hurting her, after that incident the commoner got arrested for domestic abuse(Z:that exist in the victorian era right?) and Violeta along with her child moved back to the Paidion L/N estate, after a few months Azur introduce a man to Violeta, Earl Palice Herz who soon became Violeta's new husband who actually treated her right and was a noble, giving her a daugther and a better life then her previous husband" 

*end of story time* 

Everyone was quite after the story, that is until Ziana spoke "and ever since then the family or remaining of the female L/N was always the one to pick the male that the girl shall marry to make sure that there will be no harm as to come to the Female L/N, and in this case dear, my eldest son Ethel shall be your betrothed" 

As much as Y/N didn't want this she new that this has to happen, after all she already knew that her mother and father was arrange in marrige but even so, there relationship went well and yes her mother died but, it wasn't her fathers fault 

Y/N release a sigh before responding with "I understand" with smile at her father to which her father returned with a small but warm one "great!! so that means Ethel would be joining your school then" Ziana Exclaimed to which shocking her math student 

"What?!"

Hi guys! And I just want to say, I'm so sorry for breaking my promise, its not my fault I swear!!!
