Chapter 3

It's currently night and Max and I are dancing around Elevens room to Angel, while Eleven is flicking through a magazine. She opens up to a page with Ralph Macchio on it.
"Oh, you found Ralph Macchio" Max says with a chuckle
"Macchio?" Eleven asks
"Yeah, he's the karate kid. Hai-yah!" She says while making a Karate chop motion
That why I love her but I'd never admit it
She laughs "he's so hot, right? I bet he's an amazing kisser, too"
I cough behind her and take a seat on the floor in the corner of elevens room
"Hey,uh...." Max sits on the bed "is Mike a good kisser?" She asks with a curious tone in her voice. I scoff to myself before looking at my hands.
"I don't know" Eleven rolls her eyes "he's my first boyfriend"
"Ex-boyfriend" Max corrects. Maybe Max likes Mike that's why she told Eleven to break up with him "Hey, don't worry about it,okay?" Max states when Eleven looks down "he'll come crawling back to you in no time, begging for forgiveness. I guarantee you, he's, like totally wallowing in self-pity and misery right now. He's like 'oh, I hope she takes me back'" she fake cry's making Eleven and herself laugh, while I just sit there.
"God, What I wouldn't give to see his stupid face"
I stand up and walk over to them
"Lets do it"
"Do what?" Max asks.
"I can see them" I remind her while rolling my eyes
"Are you being serious?"
"A hundred percent. Let's do it" Max looks at me shocked knowing I'm not one to break the rules. But I'm so mad that she is spending more time with Eleven that I need to do something to get her attention.

I sit in front of elevens dresser and put a blindfold on
"Is this really gonna work?" Max asks like I've never done it with her before. I nod before securing the blindfold around the back of my head tightly
"Holy shit, this is insane" by the way she says it I can tell she's smiling widely
"Max" I say seriously even though on the inside I'm smiling
"Yeah, quiet. I'm sorry" she say quickly.
I take a deep breath before focusing on three people Mike, Lucas and Will
I hear distorted voices before I hear two of the three boys clearly
"What's wrong with me? What did I do wrong?" I hear mike
"Nothing" lucas reply's
A few seconds later I see mike laying on his couch like Lucas paces around him
"What did I do wrong? What could I have done wrong?" Mike asks
"Do I have to go through this again?" Lucas reply's again
I look over to see Will setting up D&D oh how I wish I was there to play that stupid game with them
I snap out of my trance and realise I need to tell Max and Eleven what their doing
"I see them" I say but automatically regret it. Of course I see them
"What are they doing" I hear Max's voice get closer to me and than someone sits next to me and touches my leg gently making me flinch. They pull their hand away
"Eating" I say again sounding dumb
"I just don't understand what I did to deserve this" Mike says stuffing chips into his mouth
"Nothing. Nothing. That's my whole point" I walk closer to them "you are the victim here"what is this a court case?
"I know. It's just, why is she treating me this way?" He asks
"I don't know Mike-"
"What did I do wrong? What did I do wrong?!"
"Mike, stop. Relax. Just relax" Lucas adjusts Mike's feet "Okay? Stop asking rational questions"
"I know, I know, you're right. You're right"
"Yeah"
"Because women act on emotion and not logic"
Bitch what?
"Precisely. It's a totally different species"
Bitch WHAT THE F-
"They said we're a 'different species'" I scoff
"What?" Max asks from next to me
"'We act on Emotions, not logic'"
"What?" She says clearly pissed

"Guys it's ready" Will says talking about D&D
"Will, not right now"
"She broke up with you. What else is there to talk about?!" Will yells
I feel bad for him.
"Tons" Lucas states making me frown even more. Son of a bitches. Will deserve more than this
"Yeah, were trying to solve the great mystery of the female species" Mike says and than burps making me scrunch my nose in disgust
"Dude, you can smell the nacho cheese"
Will groans along with me
"I got that beat" Lucas says
"What?"
"Oh, no"
"No, Lucas, no"
"No!"
And then he...farts
"Lucas! Lucas!" Mike yells
I take my blindfold off quickly and look between Eleven and Max
"What happened?" Max asks looking at me seriously making me burst into a fit of laughter. I slowly fall down onto the fall laughing harder
"What?" She places a hand on my thigh and runs it up and down slightly.
I continue to laugh while max climbs on top of me
"Y/n what happened?" She asks before shaking my shoulders lightly
Making me laugh even more
Than she starts laughing ,laying onto of me, face in the crook of my necks, her breath making me laugh even more.
We hear a car pulls up which makes us jump. The door slams open and shut.
