I almost choke on my food.

I dropped my spoon and fork.

I turned to see Bruno dead serious while Jake is wearing his usual grin.

I look at Bruno as if he's grown another head. "Excuse me?"

Bruno crossed his arms.
"You heard me."

I pushed my plate away, losing my appetite.
"Well, I don't know if I heard you correctly."

"You heard him correctly." Jake chuckled.
He brought a slice of pancake to his mouth and chews.

I gasped, blinking my eyes in rapid motion.

"Are you guys high?" I asked them, but my eyes glued on Bruno.

"Nope." he answered.

Jake smirked at his friend. He seems proud of his answer.

Well there isn't something to be proud of!

My eyes continue to widen in shock.

"Dang! You look so horrified, babe." Jake chuckled again.

I glared at him.
"It's because I am! I fucking am!!"

"Don't be." Bruno tilted his head. The side of his lips curves slightly, forming a half smile.

How could he manage to be so sexy just by looking?

I groaned at my untimely lust!

"Should we be offended?" Jake joked. "We aren't bad looking, babe."

I'm starting to get damn irritated on his jokes!

"Your looks is the least of my concern!" I glared at him.

"Wow, you're a keeper." he winked at me.

I groaned.

Jake smiled to me. "Listen closely, sweetheart. One of the perks living here is that peopke are open in a polygamous relationship. An open relationship... Dating more than one person... Throuple... Stuffs like that... It's accepted here."

"Not because it is accepted here makes it right."

"Who talks about righteous here? I'm not a hypocrite, babe. How about you?"

"I'm not!"
I gritted my teeth.

"Good. Then why marry one person if you know you will cheat soon? Same goes with relationships before marriage, why settle and promise for one person if you know you can't?"
He wiped his mouth with a table napkin before he continues, "In this town, there's people been married with two grooms, two brides or both. They are accepted. You know the saying about monogamy is hypocrisy?"

I shook my head. My head still stunned about what he said.

Bruno cleared his throat.
"What's Jake trying to say is that we are open for marriage more than two persons. That means, in this town, we do not judge polygamy. You date two to three person at the same time as long as both parties agreed, it's fine."
