Jake.

Days passed like a blur. We finally managed to forget about the whole thing. Bruno and I settled the argument and so is Fiera.

We spent movie marathons and countless grilling on the backyard.

But fun is always accompanied with problems and bad news.

We were laughing at our asses as we ride the car and hit the road.

Today, we are off to the store.

Loud music blaring, three voices the same as the voice of a dying duck sings along to Miley Cyrus' wrecking ball.

"I came in like a wreeeeeeeeecking ball!"
we yelled.

But wrecking ball indeed as the road is blocked by the people.

"What the fuck?" Bruno muttered.

The people are surrounding something isn't visible to us.

"I'm parking."
Bruno said.

The vehicle halted, the three of us observing from behind.

"What's wrong?"
Fiera asked.

Bruno turned down the radio. Three of us head out to investigate what's happening.

Fiera hesitated at first, so we offered our hands to her.

As she reached back to our waiting hands, I gripped her hand gently and I bet Bruno did the same thing.

"Everything's gonna be fine."
Bruno whispered to her.

I decided to remain silent and focus to what is ahead of us.

By the looks of how grave the facial expression of the crowd,
I could tell that something horrifying took place.

The odd stomach churning smell caught my nose.

Bruno casted me a glance.

From my peripheral view, I could see Fiera's shocked expression upon smelling the odd scent.

We head to get a closer look.

Fiera held my hand, seeking strength.

I forced a smile.
"You want to go back to the car?"

She shook her head.

"You sure?"

"Yes." she answered.

I ended up nodding briefly. I don't want to argue.

Then we heard someone screaming and crying.

We fastened our pace, aiming to see what made them gather.

But what we are about to see is something we did not expect, not even in a billion years.

"Excuse us..." Bruno said.

People starts to make way.

He walk ahead of us to make sure a clear path. Fiera gripped on me, her shaken limbs made me want to just walk away.
