Monday morning, astrid woke up feeling a little terrible, she just ate alot of pizza and burgers last night. She went to the bathroom and looked at herself on the mirror

"You're such a monster astrid, clean up yourself" she said to herself and started splashing water on her face

....

When she's finally done, she went down stairs for breakfast. The aroma of scrambled egg and toast greeted her nose

"Morning mom" She greeted her mother who also looks terrible because of last night

"Morning dear, astrid pls warn me to never-ever order on pizza jocks again? PLS!!" Natalia exaggerated a little over-acting

"Okay, okay geez! You're not the only one who felt terrible on eating alot" astrid sat on her sit and ate her breakfast

"By the way, isn't the dance going to be tonight?" Natalia said, astrid almost choke her food

"I almost forgot! Thanks for telling me mom" astrid sighed and continued eating

Natalia looked at her in disbelief "so you're not at all excited?"

She furrowed her eyebrows "who wouldn't be? I mean... Its the dance! Nobody wants to miss it right? Especially if it has a prize and when the guy you actually likes asks you and-" she stopped realizing what she just said

Her mom looked at her with a weird look

"Ok! Im done! Thanks for the breakfast mom! Im gonna go upstairs!" She ran quickly

"Astrid hofferson! You have alot to explain young lady!" Natalia said in a joking matter

Then someone knocked on the door, Natalia opened it showing ruffnut with alot of bags

"Err.... Ruffnut dear, why do you have so many bags?" Natalia asked looking on ruffnut's bags

"Oh! Mrs. Hofferson! Ofcourse! We needed it to get ready for tonight! Im gonna help astrid get ready! And ofcourse myself too!" Ruffnut said and she whispered something "especially cause she doesn't even know how to use make ups" both of them laughed and natalia helped ruffnut on her bags

"So ruffnut, Im just curious on something about astrid, she said something earlier, I know it just slipped on her mouth but... It has something to do with her liking a guy?" She said in a serious tone

"Oh yeah! Well she told me to never tell anyone, she's kinda strict about that, If I tell you... She would strangle me" ruffnut gulped imagining what will astrid do to her

"Ruffnut, Im her mom Im not just an anyone to her, but if she would really do that, its our secret" natalia said

'Geez she really cares about astrid, well why not? Its her mom!' ruffnut thought

She sighed "okay well, did she told you who's her partner on the dance?"

"Yeah what about him?" Natalia asked cluelessly

Ruffnut gave her a look that something that natalia would understand

"Oh! You mean him?" She said "as in the haddock"

Ruffnut laughed on natalia's 'teenagerish side'

"Astrid! You have a visitor!"

"Who is it?" Astrid shouted from upstairs

"Its me hofferson! Just go down here and stop listening to that crap!!" Ruffnut shouted, she knows astrid's past time hobby

Astrid went down, she glanced at her mother but quickly glanced away
