Garfield complained about not feeling well as the team entered Hell. Everywhere was red, large spikes resembling teeth were scattered everywhere. Imbedded into the spiked here human skulls. It was creepy. Once Raven left the portal, the oval disappeared, and she started talking.

"The crystal can only be touched by me. He may have escaped it, but he can't destroy it." The team moved to the end of the pathway. There was a very large hole, at the bottom there was what can only be thought of as lava to the power of ten. There were floating islands that are connected together and at the end, a very tall rectangular prism. It was black with a glowing blue circle. "Home, sweet home."

Y/n signed and the team looked at her. Robin was about to translate but Beetle spoke first. "She asked why you can't transport us inside." Robin crossed his arms. Raven went up to Cardinal and suddenly, but not harshly, grasped her throat. Both of the girls' bodies glew purple and when Raven let go, Cardinal cleared her throat. She removed the bandage and threw it on the ground.

"There, and no, it's shielded." Raven took the lead and started walking down the paths. The team followed in suit. Y/n thanked her and Raven responded with a nod.

Once they reached the staircase their presence must have set off a trigger. A loud shriek was heard from the large tower. Thousands of demons were flying down at them. They had large skinny necks and smooth heads. They were disgusting. Then, a different scream was heard. Everyone turned around and saw Beast Boy on the floor holding his stomach. His back was started to become pointed. Two large sharp wings shot out causing Beetle to jump back. Starfire was left trying to help the green boy.

Raven, Robin, and Cardinal were left to fight the demons. Robin took the first swing, using his katana to slice through the first monster. Raven took on the next couple, and Cardinal shot down the ones she could aim at but using her knives whenever she could to keep as many arrows on her body as she could. The rest of the Titans began to attack, defending themselves and the down team member.

Said member was transforming into something out of this world. In the end, he turned into this oversized beast with fangs, claws, and a long tail. But soon reformed into a smaller quicker shape. Perhaps him being in a different realm allowed him to turn into forms that were beyond Earth.

Once they were finished beating the flying demons, a new one formed. It was three stories high and had three heads. The middle one shot fire and lava, burning whatever came across its path. Two heroes per monster head were enough to keep it busy as Raven flew to the top of the tower. She held out her hands which allowed purple lines to run up and down the large brick. It cracked open, revealing a very nasty looking structure. It had the same large teeth spikes that were at the base of the tower.

After being thrown around, Robin looked towards Cardinal, (not to see if she was safe because she is able to take care of herself), and saw her looking up at the new fleshy looking tower. Something felt off. Robin stood beside her and felt the same way. Something else was up there.

Raven stood at the edge of the fiery pit before stepping, creating twine paths that led to the middle of the pit, where the crystal was kept. Raven almost made it to the center when a sword was thrown, shattering the crystal. Then a force shoved her to the floor. It was a tall figure, he held the sword over his head, ready to give the final blow. But he was stopped by two smaller figures swinging in front of Raven. Robin readied his sword and Cardinal retracted her bow into a staff. They looked up to see someone they thought they would never see again.

"Grandfather?" Robin asked as he stood up. Cardinal gripped her staff tighter, knowing how evil Ra's was - is.

"Damian," his eyes were all red. "My blood." He smiled.

"It's a trick. We saw you die," Robin frowned and held his katana in front of him. Cardinal got beside her partner and frowned.

"No trick, It's me," his voice was distorted. "I assure you. I exist. Lord Trigon is my sustenance. And Y/n," Ra's looked at Cardinal. The color drained from her face and suddenly she felt like the little girl who was imprisoned, with no hope of having a life of her own. It frightened her. "I see you are no longer Damian's betrothal. How...unfortunate."

Y/n's chest tightened. The memory of the searing pain and hot tears flooded her brain. It was a familiar feeling. It was the beginning of an anxiety attack. She had gotten them once she moved to Star City, one of her bigger ones caused her to lash out at a teacher who was handling it wrong. Something triggered it, she couldn't remember, but now she knew she needed to calm down. Y/n bit her lip and closed her eyes as the scene between Damian and his grandfather played out.

"He's a devil," Robin sneered.

"He's a god of necessity. How do you think I attained my power? Where do you think the Lazarus Pits came from? It's all his doing," Robin frowned. "And he can make things whole again for a price. He can give us the world we wanted. You and I. A perfect world." He aimed his sword at Raven. "She's the only one who stands in the way. Prive your love, grandson. Take care of this for me," Robin glanced at Raven, who stayed sitting on the floor. "And then take care of this," Ra's looked at Cardinal. Robin stared at Cardinal. "Before my pact with Trigon expires."

"I," Robin looked down. "I would do anything to bring you back," a pang shot through Y/n's heart.

Is he actually considering killing me?

Damian continued, "But, Grandfather, I don't-"

Ra's stepped forward. "You hesitate," Robin's blade was lightly touching Ra's sternum. "Why?" he demanded. "Are you afraid to do the one act that will restore me to life?" Damian rebuttaled by telling him he was not afraid of anything."You dare disobey me?" Ra's backed Damian against a spike. Cardinal stood beside Raven. "Have you forgotten your heritage?" Robin held his katana tighter. "You are an al Ghul."

Robin frowned and readied his stance, "No, I'm a Titan."

Robin and Ra's fought, moving away from the two girls. Cardinal moved to help Raven up. She grasped at her head, as if she were in a deep conversation. She stood up straight and gave Cardinal a look, telling her she was okay and that Cardinal's attention should be focused on Ra's. Cardinal nodded and ran to Robin.

Cardinal joined the fight and landed a few hits before she was pushed back but quickly got up to return to Robin's side. But a voice called out to her.

"Y/n," it spoke. Cardinal stopped in her tracks and tried to identify what was calling out to her. "Y/n." It was a familiar voice, but why?

Cardinal seemed to have forgotten what she was trying to do, moving away from Damian and Ra's, towards the mysterious voice like a magnet. Cardinal dropped her bow and walked to the large tooth spike where the voice was calling from. Cardinal rested her gloved hand on the bone like material.

"Hello?"

"Y/n," the voice sighed, the calling out seemed to stop. Now it sounded like it was relieved, almost happy to see that Y/n had chosen to listen.

Cardinal turned around, feeling something behind her. She gasped at what was in front of her. Cardinal gave a shaky breath as she extended her hand to hold the face of the smaller girl in front of her.

"S/n," Y/n choked.
