Leo's POV:
Today is the day, that I finally ask Hermione out, I didn't want to do this but I just wanted Anya to be happy.
Gosh, I sound so love sick, since when do I care about girls' emotions.
I went to the library hopefully Dranes would be there and I was right, she was seated there with her friend Nikita, they were some books in front of them so obviously they were studying
"Hey, girls"I say when I finally reached their table giving them a fake smirk
"Hi Leo" Nikita said with much familiarity while Hermione just looked at me and smiled.
I'm sure she thinks we are friends now after the incident of that night. I can't do this, but Anya, ugh
"Can I sit?" I asked still standing and Nikita ushered me to sit next to Hermione
"So, what you doing here" Nikita asked after a long silence
"What's wrong with coming to the library to study" I replied
"You..., study..., o puh-lease" Nikita said again
"OK, fine, I only came here because I wanted to hang out with you guys" I managed to lie
"Hang out with us?, Well, that's normal" Nikita said sarcastically
"Can you quite being all sarcastic?" I asked her
"Can you quite lying?" She asked back
"Ok, fine, I only wanted to talk with Hermione" I finally said frustrated
"You should have just said so" she says in a duhh tone before packing all her things and leaving I and Hermione alone
"You wanted to talk to me, is it about that night?, thanks again though, if you weren't there then who knows what would have happened" she said ending her sentence timidly
"It's OK, I actually want to talk to you about that" I say and she looks at me seriously now
The lies are about to begin now
"Well"

"I've been thinking of you and I think you are a really brave and beautiful girl and I was hoping you would like to hang out with me sometimes" I finally blurted out and she looked up at me smiling

Hermione's POV:
"I've been thinking of you and I think you are a really brave and beautiful girl and I was hoping you would like to hang out with me sometimes" he said to me
I was actually shocked but happy at the same time.
Leo Williams was actually the hottest guy at school and truth be told, I had been crushing on him since he transferred from his old school.
After the whole you-know-what incident, I was hoping that we would become friends or something but it turned out, he still didn't know I existed.
Instead he kept on tagging along with Anya and her crew, the baddest bitches in the whole of Addison high. Anya was the reason I and Niki couldn't sign up for cheerleaders, she thought our standards were too low.
She wasn't wrong actually, I know I'm actually a nerd but I don't really care. My dad died when I was three and since then, my mum has been struggling to raise me all on her own but she's not financially stable so I promised myself that I'll study hard, get a diploma, find a job and support my mother.
The fact that Leo wants to hang out with me took me by surprise because every one sees me as a nerd, I'm sure it's because of that night because why else will he........
"Uhm, hello, Earth to Hermione" Leo said snapping me from my train of thoughts "What are you thinking about?, you haven't answered me yet" he continued
"I'm sorry, and yeah, I'll love to hang out with you anything" I say to him in my British accent.
I hope he doesn't find the fact that I'm British weird
"O, great, how about tonight at Brain freeze by five?" He asked
"Tonight?, I asked, that was quicker that I expected
"Yeah sure, I'll call you" he says again before finally walking off
Call me, how does he have my phone number?, forget that, I can't go on a date, I mean a 'hang out' with him, I don't even know what to wear, o what to do, I should probably calk Niki.

Anya's POV:
"What?, why?, we both usually hang out at brain freeze everyday so why on earth do you want to go with that nerd" I asked angry
Yeah, my plan was working even better than I expected, every one at school is talking about Dranes and Leo sitting together in the library but what I don't want is Leo choosing her over me, he's taking her to our place
"I'm sorry Anya, it was just the first place that got to my mind, maybe it's because I was thinking of you" he apologized while also trying to flatter me and sure enough it worked but I won't admit it
"That was very dumb of you Leo, keep 'thinking of me' and you are sure to blow our cover" I say putting air quotes on the 'thinking of me'
"OK, I'm sorry, I won't make that mistake ever again" he said truthfully
"It's OK, I forgive you, but learn to use your brain more often" I said to him, obviously he didn't like what I said but he just shrugged it off anyways.
I give him a smile before turning to my car and leaving.

Leo's POV:
I have been in this restaurant for hours.
I came ten minutes early because I thought since she was nerdy she would be quite early to the date but turns out, I was wrong.
I was about to send her a text message for the tenth time when the door of the restaurant flung open and there she was, looking good for a nerd
"O my goodness, I didn't actually believe you would be early, Niki said that bad boys usually come late to hang outs" she said on reaching the table
"Hangs out?, that's what you are calling this" I asked chuckling
"Yeah, what else should I call this?" She said naively
"How about you call it a date?" I said looking into her eyes for expression but I couldn't make out anything except from the redness all over her face. She was blushing.
"A date?, that means......."
"That means I like you and I want our hangouts to be dates and I want us to increase from the friend zone" I said interrupting her
"But, but, why me?, do you know who I am?" She asked obviously shocked
"Yes I do and that's the main reason why I like you, you are sorta different from every single girl at school, I'm tired of seeing the same attitude, I want something different, I want you" I managed to say, I hope she falls for it though
"I should probably have some time to think about this first Leo" she said in her British accent before picking up the menu to order
"OK then" I said sounding as heartbroken as I could
"I'll order you some rocky road" she said and I was quite shocked cause I honestly needed a rocky road
"Thanks" I still say lightly without looking at her to make my 'heartbreak' more believable
