Home - Daughters

"I won't say a word, But I think he knows... That I've heardly slept, since the night he left."

ISABELLA

My heart is beating erratically against my chest. Feet moving as quickly as my body will allow them to move, while I quickly cut the next corner. Everything is black... dark. I can't see where I'm going. The only thing leading my path is the sheer adrenaline that's pulsating through my veins.

I can feel the shadows following fast behind me. I need to keep moving.

Faster and faster I rush down the unknown path. There's a distinct howling shooting through the wind. Its distinguishing sound is familiar. A loud bang comes from behind me. I let out a shrill scream but I don't hear any sound. It gets caught in my throat; choking me. Suffocation falls over me like a heavy blanket.

I call out his name but I don't hear a sound. This has become a pattern. Whenever I call for him he doesn't return it. I only feel farther away from him. My body becomes swallowed by the abysmal shadowing of the staggering demons.

Please Harry... save me. My subconscious calls out, but once again I am left unanswered.

I trip on something, falling quickly to the ground. My knee scrapes on something, the pain shooting through my body. I cry out but again I don't make any sound. My body heaves in painful cries, every fibre of my frail body shaking in anguish. "Harry-"I manage to cry out, but it only comes out into a mere whisper. "Please... help me."

A hand takes hold of my shoulder, causing me to jump in surprise. My quick movements only cause another sharp pain to course through me, every nerve ending alight. I turn around, hoping to be met with familiar and safe green eyes.

Instead I am met with dark brown; a pair of eyes that have become all too familiar. Ty...

"What are you...." My voice trails off, for the pair of eyes that once use to hold kindness and warmth are now clouded by anger and an unfamiliar darkness.

"Isabella... Isabella..." he shakes his head, a malicious smirk plastered against his lips.  "You think you could easily run away from your problems... away from me... I applaud your attempts, but I am a part of you. I'm a part of who you are... You can't run away from your home and your family. We're one."

He wraps his filthy hands around my neck, dragging me up to my feet. I throw my body around, hoping that somehow he'd lose his tight grip.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because Izzy, you're meant to be with me. Not Harry... I love you. I know you love me too..." He yells, his voice startling me. I shake my head, tears streaming down my face.

"I'm sorry," I cry out. "I don't-"

"Shut up!" He yells, his voice booming. "Don't you dare say you don't feel the same way too. I see it; your parent's see it. Fuck it – I know you do too."

I shake my head once more.  Every fibre of my being is shaking, anxiety coursing through my veins. I can't seem to calm down. Tears free falling down my cheeks. "I'm sorry - I'm so sorry..."

I continue to cry. Ty's grip around my arms tightens as he begins to shake me. "Izzy!" He yells, "Izzy..."

His voice soon becomes distant, but the shaking doesn't stop. His dark features fade away, his voice becoming more and more distant.

"Izzy," I hear someone call. It's no longer the spiteful voice of my old friend, but instead is the sweet sounds of someone else. "Izzy, please... wake up!" I hear it once more. My eyes struggle to open.
