I had pretty much stayed in my bed all day yesterday especially after Calum got mad at me for walking around. But today i decided that that was enough.

Michael would be here in the morning but after he left i would be home alone for a few hours.

I decided to risk it and go downstairs without knowing if anyone was home.

I sat up and stepped out of my bed. My stomach hurt a little but it would only really hurt if i used the muscle that was close to the stitches.

I walked to the stairs but once i took the first step down a sharp pain ran trough my stomach when i did that but i ignored it.

With my arm clenched around my stomach i walked down.

"Why are you here? You supposed to be in bed." Michael said surprised once i walked into the kitchen.

I smiled at him."Didn't feel like staying in bed."

"Sit down idiot." He said pointing to the kitchen table.

I rolled my eyes and sat down. They were all so dramatic.

He kneeled infront of me and put a little bit of pressure on my stitches.

I quickly pushed his hand away because it hurted.

"If that stills hurts you shouldn't be up and moving." He said as he stood up.

"How's mom?" I asked changing the subject.

He sighed and walked back into the kitchen. "I'm serious Becky, i don't want you getting hurt."

"I know, I'll promise that I'll stay in bed for the rest of the day."

"Good." He said a put a bowl of cereal with an apple infront of me.

I gave him a glance. "Eat it." He said firmly.

I sighed and listened to him.

He sat down next to me. "Your mom is doing surprisingly well. All her vitals are stable and her new medication is giving her more energy."

"So she has more time?" I asked.

"I don't like to estimate how long she still has. But i can see that she is stable right now."

"And that means?"

"Thats she isn't getting worse. And i guess that that could mean that she might have a few months longer than we originally expected. But as i said anything can change within a day."

I nodded. "I understand."

Michael helped me to my room after i had finished my food.

"Stay here. You can just give a shout when you need something okay?" He aksed once i was comfortable in my bed.

"I will, thank you." I said with a smile.

"I will come see you before i leave." He said before closing the door behind him.

Before he left to go to work Michael stormed into my room. "I'm sorry but I'm running late. Ash would be home around 5."

I laughed at his chaotic engery.

He quickly kissed my foreahead. "Byee."

"Stay in bed." He yelled before shutting the door.

I ignored the last thing that he said. What he didn't see was what he wouldn't know.

Ashton

She did the exact thing that we were afraid off. She totally ignored the fact that she just had surgery and refused to rest.

I had to tell her 5 times last night that she needed to rest but she kept ignoring me. She didn't even listen to Calum.

When i left for work this morning she was sleeping in her room which made me happy. I just hoped that she would remained to do that for atleast today.

When i got home i immediately noticed that the house was incredibly clean which meant that Becky must've cleaned it because she was the only one who would ever do that.

When i walked in my room there was a pile of neatly folded clean clothes on my bed. Nobody ever had time to do laundry and even if we had time we still chose not to do it unless it was absolutely necessary.

I took a shower and changed my clothes before i went to Becky's room. I wasn't mad at her but i just wanted her to rest.

I knocked on her door and entered. She was laying on her bed with a book in her hand.

"Did you do the laundry?" I asked her.

She nodded without even looking up from her book.

I sighed and went to sit next to her. "You're supposed to rest."

She closed her book and looked at me. "I don't want to feel like I'm doing nothing. I want to help."

"Can i check your stiches?" I wanted to prove to her that she needed to give her body time to heal.

She hesitated for a second but then nodded and layed down on her back.

I pulled her shirt a little bit back and lifted the bandage that was covering her wound. It looked exactly like i thought that it would. It was red and agitated. She was slowing the healing process down by refusing to listen to her body.

"Something wrong?" She asked when i stayed quiet.

"Not yet but there will be if you keep ignoring our advice."

She rolled her eyes and sat back up. "It's fine, I'm not ignoring your advice."

"Have you been resting like i told you too? Have you been eating like i said?" I asked her as i looked in her eyes.

"I've been taking care of my wound like Calum said." She said quietly.

I sighed. "Becky I'm trying to help you and i can't do that if you keep ignoring my advice."

She looked angry at me. "Like Michael has been helping my mom?"

I gave her a confused look.

She scoffed. "Nevermind. I'm sorry that i didn't listen to you. I'll try to take it easy the next few days."

"Is there something else bothering you? I mean there must be a reason that you keep hurting your body like this." I said softly trying not to angry her.

"I..i don't know. Mabye my mom said something that i can't seem to ignore but that's not a valid reason."

I layed my hand and her knee. "Any reason is a valid one. What did your mom say?"

"Just because you told me i should rest doesn't mean that i deserve it. She said something like that." She said as she figeted with the strings of her hoodie.

"I'll talk to your mother about that because that's not okay to say. You deserve to rest and i don't want you to listen to your mom."

"I don't think that's possible, she always finds a way to make herself heard."

"Hold on, I'm getting this sorted out." He said before je left my room.

I had no idea what he meant by that and that scared me a little.
